    Manager Growth - Social Services

    Key Responsibilities

    • Effectively supervise account executives to ensure solid lead generations and closures
    • Deliver revenue, deposits, recruitment, NPS and CES targets 
    • Sell the bank’s digital platform and gateway to health institutions and their value chains (pharmacies, laboratories etc.) as the primary payments/collections and transfer partner
    • Drive for adoption of the bank’s digital payments system as the preferred school fees collection and disbursement partner and expand services and features to the overall education value chain partners i.e. HELB, Stationary Vendors, Bookshops, Uniform distributors, Food suppliers etc.
    • Map out the customer journeys and value chains for Agricultural partners and offer payment, merchant and/or financing solutions both downstream and upstream whether for inputs or for final produce by formulating solutions across sectoral divides.
    • Work with religious institutions to develop and deploy joint business plans that incorporate digital solutions for collections, lending and savings products within the ecosystem and value chain.
    •  Work closely corporate and retail diaspora teams to coordinate and drive digital platforms that support, disbursement of development funds. 
    • Manage all processes and documentation for onboarding, integration and roll out including tendering, and contract negotiation
    • Interface with Technology, Marketing, Retail, Corporate and DFS Customer Value Management teams on customer onboarding and the commercialization of aligned products/services
    • Work with product team and technology team to ensure efficient customer journeys that make use of deployed or to be deployed services seamless
    • Monitor signed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure NPS and CES are as per set targets
    • Develop Joint business plans with partners and ensure post-deployment relationship management; bring together relevant stakeholders to scale to value the adoption and growth of digital products.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • A bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Computer Science; Technology or related field from a recognized university
    • At least six (6) years in managerial experience in social enterprises (health, education, and religious institutions) as well as agribusiness and their value chains to drive payments, collections, disbursements, savings, and loans.
    • At least five (5) years relevant work experience with specific experience in:
      • Relationship Management experience in Key Accounts Management / Enterprise Business Sales/Government Sales/B2B Sales or Business Development in FMCG, Telcos or IT firms
      • commercialization of digital products and services 
      • Delivery of mobile financial products and services in a high growth environment
      • Building relationships, networks and collaboration with interdivisional teams

    Bancassurance - Assistant Manager, Accounts Receivable


    The role holder is responsible for revenue assurance by providing financial & administrative support on receivables through ensuring that company receives payments and where receivables are collected, proper monthly reconciliation and quarterly signoffs.  This need to be supported by proper records and resolve discrepancies according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.


    • Generate weekly receivable reports detailing status of all receivable ledgers and flagging out risky accounts for monthly risk reporting, Support periodical & annual financial statement provision and audits by compiling the required audit schedules and provide a reconciled statement of outstanding receivables that reconciles with the general ledger. 
    • Provide debtors provision analysis and ensure the adequacy of the provisions carried by the business. 
    • Prepare monthly reconciliation reports with Underwriters and have quarterly signoffs documented.
    • Prepare monthly direct commissions reports and demand the same from underwriters, ensuring all the commissions are paid on time as per agreed SLA. 
    • Monthly accounts reconciliation-suspense account reconciliation to ensure no long- outstanding items, daily reconciliation of the premium account.
    • Monthly WHT reconciliations to ensure withholding tax credits are generated and reconciled to production and the underwriter’s statements.
    • Review Underwriter payments & remittances to underwriters for timely and accurate payments.
    • Quarterly sales incentives reconciliations & follow up with underwriters as per the signed SLA.
    • Ensure bank business and captive business is invoiced and payments done within the agreed SLA.
    • Review and follow up proposed system changes to ensure efficiency.



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Finance or Accounting Option), Economics or related field    RQ
    • Professional Qualifications    Professional Qualifications in Accounting (CPAK/ACCA)  RQ

    Experience & Proficiencies

    • 4 years Experience in a similar role within a Bancassurance Intermediary/insurance company.
    • 3 years Working knowledge of: TurnQuest 
    • 3 Years Working knowledge with high proficiency in MS office suite-and Advanced Skill in Excell  
    • Practical experience in reconciliation (sales incentives reconciliations, suspense account reconciliation) and report preparation (direct commissions reports, Underwriter payments & remittances)  
    • Understanding and practical experience dealing with taxation issues and KRA compliance requirements

    Senior Manager Commercialisation

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop and deploy the optimal route to market strategy for digital products and services in collaboration with other divisions / subsidiaries across the business.
    • Develop formalized GTM plans including commercial terms, route to market, pricing, visibility, customer value proposition, sales, customer acquisition and execution toolkits for new products and enhancements to quickly scale to value. 
    • Develop and deliver strong go to market, product penetration & cross/up-sell strategies by leveraging relationships and collaboration with sales, CVM, CX and Marketing teams. 
    • Design and deploy innovative customer and merchant penetration & retention tactics in coordination with CVM & Marketing teams to drive up customer acquisition, life cycle management and loyalty.
    • Leverage sales team insights to develop tactical product uptake campaigns and promotions toolkits to quickly scale digital product customer numbers and usage growth numbers in line with business expectations.
    • Work closely with CVM, CX and Product Managers to resolve customer journey pain points across customers, merchants, agents, and partners for new digital products / enhancements.
    • Carry out new products ready for market reviews and implementation of operations standards, risk management and compliance in every product line with the aim of reduction of GTM operating cost, fraud, rework, and losses through adherence to set policies and procedures and holistic corporate governance.
    • Manage and update of Banks’ tariffs for digital products across various business lines on a continuous basis, benchmarking with competition and changing customer needs.
    • Work with the internal stakeholder teams on quick scaling and deployment of aligned products/services.
    • In coordination with other stakeholders prepare and deploy go live launch kits and post launch GTM reviews of new digital products / enhancements
    • Prepare and deliver new product launch kits / tool kits, trade execution materials and training manuals for deployment by the growth team.
    • Coach, develop and manage the team under him/her to deliver on the targets for the mandate outlined for the commercialization team.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • A bachelor’s degree preferably in Technology, or Business related field from a recognized university
    • Professional certifications; CPA (K), Marketing, IT etc
    • A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
