Job Purpose Statement

The role is responsible for providing independent, risk-based and objective assurance, advice, insight and foresight in order to add value and improve effectiveness of the Bank’s governance, risk management and internal control processes with a view to aid achievement of NCBA’s goals and objectives.

The position is specifically responsible for supporting the accomplishment of strategic objectives and ensuring that established financial, operational and compliance practices and the related controls are designed and operating effectively and in the interest of the shareholders and other stakeholders. The position reports functionally to the Board Audit Committee (BAC) and will provide it with formal assessments of the adequacy of the organisation’s internal control environment.

Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:

• A University graduate
• Masters degree will be an added advantage

Professional:

• CPA (K) or ACCA qualifications
• Basic IT professional qualifications specifically; CISA, CIA, CISM, and CISP an added advantage

Desired work experience:

• 10 years’ work experience in Internal/ External Audit or Enterprise Risk Management, 5 of which should be at a Senior management level.

Job Purpose Statement

The Marketing Planning and Analytics Assistant Manager plays a critical role in the MCC department operations. This position is responsible for leveraging data, advanced digital analytics—including artificial intelligence (AI) tools—and robust research and insights capabilities to optimize marketing plans and budgets, ensuring data-driven decision-making and evolved performance marketing application across the team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, presentation, critical thinking, research and insights skills, digital and AI acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Specifications
Academic: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Statistics, Digital Media, Information Technology, or a related business field. 

Professional: 

• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics), digital marketing platforms, market research techniques, and experience with AI and machine learning applications in marketing (e.g., predictive analytics, customer segmentation, chatbot development, or automated campaign optimization).
• Certification in IT, market research and insights, data analytics or data science is an added advantage

Desired Work Experience: 

• 5+ years of experience in marketing analysis, reporting, planning, market research, or related roles; experience in research and insights, AI, automation projects, is highly preferred. Experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is an advantage.
• Understanding of classic marketing principles, campaign development and management, performance measurement, and research analysis and reporting methodologies.
