    Digital Marketing Executive

    Job Ref: ZU/10/25/42

    Key Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Deputy Registrar-Enrollment & Institutional Advancement, the position holder will, among other duties be responsible for:

    • Develop and implement marketing plans for digital marketing.
    • Develop content for digital marketing. Identify new avenues for digital marketing.
    • Develop marketing campaigns to drive social media marketing.
    • Ensure frequent, accurate and timely responses to enquiries made on the digital platforms.
    • Record all the enquiries handled from the online platforms in the prescribed manner and form.
    • Process admissions from digital platforms.
    • Listen to customer and be able to clearly understand and meet their needs.
    • Prepare marketing analytics and trend analysis on digital marketing.

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • Have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Graphic Design or Business from a recognized University;
    • A creative person with skills in digital content development;
    • Good marketing and customer Service skills;
    • At least 1-year relevant experience in digital marketing;
    • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and the internet;
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills including fluency in written and spoken English;
    • Basic skills in graphic design will be an added advantage;

    Career Advisor

    Key Responsibilities

    • Reporting to the Senior Career Advisor, the position holder will, among other duties be responsible for:
    • Receiving and handling of all persons who come to the front-office with utmost professionalism.
    • Aggressively conducting sales activities and providing accurate and sufficient information to prospective clients on the courses offered in a professional manner that meets the expectations of the institution.
    • Recording all the enquiries handled by at the Front Office in the prescribed manner.
    • Making follow- ups on enquiries. Preparing all reports as may be required.
    • Listening to the customers with the aim of clearly understanding and meeting their needs.
    • Providing correct information to clients and other stakeholders.
    • Remaining proactive and upholding excellence in customer service.
    • Participating in ensuring student retention.
    • Coming up with Marketing Initiatives to achieve set targets.

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • Have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Management with Sales and Marketing experience or a Business related field with a bias in Marketing, PR, Communications or a related area from a recognized university;
    • Member of MSK is an added advantage;
    • At least 1 year relevant working experience;
    • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and the internet;
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills including fluency in written and spoken English;
    • Outstanding leadership and customer Service skills.

    Procurement Assistant

    Job Ref: ZU/10/25/43

    Key Responsibilities

    • Reporting to the Procurement Officer, the position holder will, among other duties be responsible for:
    • Preparation of Request for Quotation, Initiations to Bid, Requests for Proposal and co-ordination of their timely dispatch.
    • Collecting, analyzing and circulation of quotes, bids and proposal for evaluation.
    • Assisting with the coordination with the selected bidder to ensure completion of administrative processes including
    • Bid Security, contract award notices and that contract documents are distributed accordingly.
    • Receiving the approved requisitions and processing the appropriate documents procedures for local or oversea purchases/services/contracts
    • Checking and classifying the precedence of the requisition and process based on priority.
    • Coordinating with requestors and make sure the right specifications for materials/items needed are given.
    • Providing purchased materials to the responsible receiving office and do all actions for completing the process.
    • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure correct and timely delivery of goods and services as ordered.
    • Proper documentation and maintenance of all supply documents including Requisitions, Quotations, LPOs, Invoices and Delivery note awaiting payment.
    • Maintaining appropriated records to ensure that procurement process, decision, and contractual agreement are accurately documented for accountability and audit purpose.
    • Maintaining complete updated purchasing/supplier records/data and pricing in the system.
    • Monitoring and analyzing supplier performance and present detailed reports on recommendations.
    • Preparation of various information and statistical reports.

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Purchasing and Supplies or a related area.
    • CIPS qualified or in pursuit of the same will be an added advantage;
    • Professional membership will be an added advantage;
    • Minimum 1 year previous experience in a similar role;
    • Working knowledge of the Internet and MS Office Suite;
    • High levels of integrity;
    • Commercial and financial acumen ;
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills;
    • Hands on approach to all tasks;
    • Ability to take a proactive approach to overcome challenges and achieve results;
    • Can work long and odd hours.
