    Marketing & Communication Manager

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Formulate, develop and review marketing and Communication Policies and strategies that optimize sales of the Banks’ products and services
    • Develop and execute marketing plans, and programs both short and long term to ensure market share growth
    • Plan and implement direct marketing approaches including targeting, personalisation of messages and measurability; data analysis, customer profiling and segmentation
    • Develop digital & web marketing strategies in conjunction with the Business and ICT teams
    • Conduct market research, intelligence and analysis in order to develop competitive product pricing plans
    • Coordinate products promotional activities and events with appointed agencies and ensure adherence to the Banks’ and product guidelines
    • Coordinate preparation of budgets and control expenditure and prepare status reports for management and Bank executives
    • Lead and deliver brand marketing campaigns that ensures all content is customer focused and regionally relevant and engaging.
    • Manage and Co-ordinate the Banks’ CSR activities in line with the Banks strategies and guidelines.

    Key Qualities & Competencies

    • Must have at least eight (8) years’ experience in Marketing & Communication ; four (4) of which must have been in a management role at a reputable institution preferably at a financial institution
    • Must have experience in integrated marketing communication strategy formulation and demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing & communications activities
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital and social media
    • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills
    • Strong oral and written communications skills with experience in writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and experienced in developing and managing marketing & communication budgets
    • Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook
    • A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance and is mature, credible and reliable
    • Able to get on with others and be a team-player with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Between 35 to 45 years of age

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelors degree in either Marketing, Communication or Public Relations
    • Must have professional qualifications in Marketing or Public Relations
    • Excellent report writing and analytical skills
    • Superior project management and time management skills
    • Membership to a relevant professional body e.g MSK, PRSK, will be an added advantage
    • Must be proficient in IT skills

    Relationship Manager Job Key Duties And Responsibilities

    • To recruit business accounts, Churches, institutions and ensure they are funded and operated well.
    • To grow deposits by carrying out direct deposit mobilization activities and initiatives targeting SME businesses, churches and Institutions.
    • Increase the market share of SMEs, Institutions and Churches in terms of customer numbers, products and service consumption and revenues while proactively reducing the non-performing loan book.
      dTo drive transactional income from SMEs, churches and other institutions through effective customer service and cross selling the entire range of banking products and services.
    • Grow low and stable deposits through effective value chains and MOUs.
    • To act as the main Relationship manager for all SME, churches and Institutions customers and to work closely with these customers for the mutual benefit of both the customer and the bank.
    • To cross sell other accounts to the existing customers.
    • To ensure at 95% retention of the SMEs, churches & Institutions.
    • Appraise, review, validate and process customer credit applications in a timely manner.
    • Maintain a quality loan book and agreed SLAs

    Key Qualities & Competencies for Relationship Manager Job

    • Minimum of 3 years banking experience, some of which must have been spent performing a similar role in a leading commercial Bank.
    • Have excellent negotiation, sales and marketing skills
    • Strong customer centric skills
    • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

    • Must have a clear focus on high quality and business profit

    SME & Institutional Banking Officers

    SME & Institutional Banking Job Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • To champion SME product in the Branches.
    • Prospect new SME clients and assist in loan application.
    • Conduct and ensure proper loan appraisals to be measured by approval success rate.
    • Prepare and execute loan contracts and arrange for disbursement of loans.
    • Ensure client retention through excellent customer service and maintain a good relationship with existing SME customers.
    • Engage in proper Know Your Customer (KY Vetting of clients using supporting documents and SME appraisal tools.
    • Compliance to audit standards and company policies and procedures.
    • Ensure periodic SME training is carried out at the branch to enhance awareness and cross selling.
    • Ensure timely loan repayments through aggressive follow ups.
    • Delinquency and default management actions as per credit policy.
    • Mobilize deposits in line with branch targets

    Qualifications and Experience for the SME & Institutional Banking Job

    • A undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or equivalent.
    • Knowledge in Sales and Marketing, credit risk management, credit lending
    • At least 2 years’ experience in the financial sector with proven and demonstrable ability to grow SME business (for candidates applying for SME & Institutional Bankin.
    • Proficiency in computers is mandatory.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements
    • Clear understanding of microfinance/banking industry is an added advantage.
    • Good interpersonal & communication skills with excellent customer service.
    • A team player with the drive to improve performance.
    • Persuasive with strong recognition skills,
    • Self-driven and possess the ability to work with minimum supervision
    • Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.

    Business Development Officer

    Business Development Job Key Duties And Responsibilities

    • Responsible for Marketing of Banks productsand servicesand
    • Facilitate recruitment and registration of clients in existing and new groups
    • Stimulate client training on SMEP policies, procedures and basic business skills,loans, business, e.t.c.
    • Ensure that all clients contribute weekly savings and repay their loans on time
    • Responsible to evaluate clients’ businesses and determine whether they are worth the amount applied for
    • Responsible for client evaluations and loan processing.
    • Responsible for maintaining a quality asset portfolio as per the Banks requirements
    • Responsible for preparation and submissions of timely daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as per the Banks’ requirements to the respective Office Holders.
    • Responsible for recording, verifying and assessing the chattels offered for loans with assistance of the Branch Manager
    • Ensure follow-up of defaulters an
      collection of arrears
    • Responsible for record keeping for all clients e.g. savings, loan status etc.
    • Ensure client retention through excellent customer service
