    Software Engineer (Java, JEE) - 5 positions

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Be in charge of the development and documentation of requirements specifications and functional specifications.
    • Develop, document and version-control codes.
    • Participate, assist and support in development and execution of QA test plans for SITs and UATs.
    • Provide support for production systems and participate in maintenance tasks, including change requests and upgrades.
    • Engage in all aspects of the software development cycle, including the coding and testing, conducting of system installation, user training and testing, documentation, post implementation support, and debugging and bug fixing of the Company’s business offerings, solutions and services.
    • Lead and mentor team members as part of projects, including being responsible for assigned projects.

    Qualification:

    • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
    • Have a strong sense of responsibility and ownership of work.
    • Must be able to work closely within the team and at the same time be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Have a meticulous sense for details and a keen interest in quality work.
    • Ability to work and contribute within a team.
    Knowledge of Java, JSP, Spring framework and Hibernate will be preferred.

    IT & Systems Manager

     

    The ideal candidate MUST have I.T experience in developing strategy and ensuring efficient management of I.T systems. He/She will be responsible for optimizing efficiency of the existing software and managing all aspects of the company related to hardware and software.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Give support to the departments in IT and systems related matters.
    • Understand and be able to use SAP and SQL to improve physical processes.
    • Develop IT policies and upgrades related to SAP and CISTECH.
    • Monitor licenses and requirements related to ERP.
    • Maintain all hardware and software.
    • Give periodical reports on tasks completed.
    • Attend board meetings.
    • Effectively recruit, induct, lead, manage, train and develop IT staff.

    Qualifications:

    Must have a Degree in Information Technology or relevant field.
    Must have above 4 years experience in an ICT environment.
    Must have working experience with SAP and SQL.
    • Ability to read, analyse and interprets periodical reports, and technical procedures.
    • Able to motivate staff through leadership.
    • Able to handle high stress environment positively.
    • Ability to create good and strong work ties cross different departments.

    Senior Software Engineer (Java, JEE)

    Warehouse Operator

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Physical handling of all inbound and outbound deliveries of products to and from the warehouse.
    • Receive incoming products, check that the products delivered match the accompanying shipping manifest.
    • Produce the necessary paperwork to book the products into stock.
    • Place products in the correct, allocated stock location within the warehouse.
    • Receive orders placed, print, pick and pack lists from Enterprise One ERP system and pack for dispatch.
    • Regular stock takes to ensure that there is the recorded quantity of products.
    • Make sure that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and tidy condition at all times.

    Qualifications:

    Mechanical or Electrical Degree or related.
    • Experience with mechanical handling equipment.
    • Computer literacy will be advantageous.

    Marketing & PR Manager

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop go-to-market strategy, market introduction plan of specified product categories.
    • Develop and implement strategic PR programs to achieve significant increases in brand awareness.
    • Local activation and monitoring of marketing strategies and campaigns defined with value suppliers.
    • Planning, execution and supervision of key product launches & marketing activities. Competitive benchmarking and using market intelligence data where available.
    • On-going product information and training for retail staff.
    • Briefing, developing, and executing of POP Materials (hardware & software
    • Managing, tracking, and evaluating budget to deliver effective in-store activation and category management.
    • Quarterly activity planning with managers on prioritizing in-store, trade etc

    Qualifications:

    Must have a Degree in Sales and Marketing or related field.
    Must have above 4 years marketing and PR experience in the FMCG sector.
    Must have experience of in-store excellence.
    • Proven success in both traditional and interactive PR channels.
    • Proficient with MS Office and PR applications.
    • Word Press or video blogging skills an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication and negotiating skills.

    Logistic and Procurement Supervisor – Voi, Coastal Region

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Liaise with Finance Department on issues related to procurement, cost control and custom issues.
    • Monitor and coordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure timely delivery of all items to site/store on time.
    • Carry out stock taking on a regular basis and reconcile physical stock.
    • Manage import /export custom documentation under EPZ conditions.
    • Ensure forward planning and preparation to ensure import of raw materials and export of final good happen on schedule.
    • In charge of inventory management, demand planning, receiving of incoming stocks and controlling outgoing stock.
    • Planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating and delegating.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply and procurement management or a related field.
    Must have above 5 years experience.
    • Excellent planning skills and highly organized with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and under strict deadlines.
    • Can adapt quickly to different environments.
    • Effective people & project management skills.
    • Ability to perform at a high level, constantly with proven experience.

    Finance & Operations Manager – Voi, Coastal Region

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work alongside with the Managing Director to prepare annual budget and forecast.
    • Provide support and guidance on the Finance, Risk Management and internal controls.
    • Reviewing existing processes and controls, with particular focus on revenue, inventory and purchasing making recommendations.
    • Overall operation and management of the Company.
    • Oversee the recruitment process of staff; interviewing, hiring and training of employees.
    • Maintain and develop organizational culture, design, values and reputation in its markets
    • Ensure that expenditures are commensurate with the budgeted revenues and stay within limits approved by the Board.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements and other government regulations.

    Qualifications:

    Must have a financial management post graduate qualification.
    Must have a CPA K / ACCA with at least 3 years at senior financial position.
    Must have experience in dealing with cost management and optimization.
    • Experience with initiating and leading improvement programmes, strategic plans and overseeing change.
    • Must have strong treasury and cash management background.

    Industrial Engineer – Voi, Coastal Region

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop the operation bulletins, cell targets and time study set up for new styles.
    • Capacity study and cost estimation of a garment.
    • Developing and maintaining skill matrix.
    • Train operators for particular operation as needed for specific steps.
    • Continue to look for opportunity to implement work aids to reduce steps, time and cost.
    • Consistently look for methods to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
    • Labour utilisation and line balancing follow up.
    • Method study activities in cutting, sewing and finishing.
    • Setting of Standard Minute Value for new operations.
    • Confirming of Standard Minute Value and cell target.
    • Pre-planning of man, machine and attachment requirements.
    • Incentive scheme proposal and implementation.
    • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting on factory performance.
    • Work alongside other departments to clear communication and team engagement.

    Qualifications:

    Must have experience working in a small factory producing small production runs (MOQ 300 units).
    Must have experience working in apparel manufacturing industry ideally within an EPZ.
    Must be Knowledgeable and have experience working with a vast selection of sewing machinery.
    Must have above 5 years of Industrial Engineer experience.
    Must have Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
    • Attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
