    Servicing & Collections Team Leader

     

    Responsibilities for the Team Leader Job

    • Develop daily workflow for the loan servicing team
    • Review and update the process for SMS/In app/Social media repayment messaging response
    • Prepare regular and ad-hoc analyses on team performance and trends in loan servicing
    • Derive borrower contact lists from our system using SQL
    • Preparing team Schedule and regular capacity planning
    • Conduct regular one on one and trainings for Servicing Associates
    • Implement existing standard operating procedures and update with new processes
    • Work with other team Leads for loan review and Customer Service to recommend product changes with aims of improving borrower experience and driving up repayment rates
    • Maintain team documentation
    • Investigate suspected fraud and develop processes to prevent it in the future
    • Assist Servicing & Collections manager on day to day dept. duties

    Team Leader Job Qualifications

    • Must be a graduate (Business degree with a mix of I.T is most desired)
    • At Least 2 years previous Loan Servicing experience and understanding of consumer credit behavior
    • Experience with SQL is important. If you do not have SQL experience, then you need to have the ability and desire to learn it quickly!
    • Analytical with expert Excel skills (Must be ready to prove practical basic to expert excel skills during the recruitment process)
    • Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable with ambiguity and taking initiative
    • Excellent collaborator and team player
    • Thorough knowledge of CRB regulations

    Launch Manager

     

    Responsibilities for the Launch Manager Job

    • Set and track progress against goals for Branch’s Tanzanian portfolio and operations
    • Coordinate initiatives across core business functions including servicing, loan processing, customer service, marketing etc.
    • Communicate product / process needs to company leadership
    • Support product and engineering teams on 1/ new feature design and roll outs and 2/ resolution of difficult technical issues
    • Represent Branch in Tanzania for partnerships or other initiatives

    Launch Manager Job Requirements

    • 3+ years of operations experience and is MBA a plus
    • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and willing to get hands dirty
    • Good communicator and highly collaborative
    • Analytical – should have good excel skills, SQL skills a plus
    • Excited about Branch’s mission
    • Experience working for an international tech startup a big plus
    • East African Nationals and fluency in Tanzanian Swahili preferred

    Marketing and Business Development Associate

     

    The Position is a full-time role touching on nearly all marketing related aspects of the business.

    Responsibilities for the Marketing & Business Development Job

    • Manage our organic social media execution to grow fan base and engagement (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube)
    • Design day to day marketing assets (display ads, social media posts, leaflets) after researching best practice examples online
    • Update data in department performance dashboards on a daily basis
    • Conduct e-mail, SMS and phone surveys of customers and summarize learnings
    • Assist in preparation & management of events
    • Maintain and update directory of important department contacts & leads
    • Conduct market research for potential suppliers and partners
    • Onboard and track borrowers that are part of special programs, e.g. our partnership with Uber
    • Re-engage borrowers through phone calls and e-mails to drive results
    • Create weekly performance reports of own work

    Marketing & Business Development Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from a top university
    • Photoshop and web based picture creation skills essential
    • Good Excel skills (pivot tables, functions) are an added advantage, training is however available to improve such skills
    • Experience using all social media platforms
    • Fluent spoken and written Swahili and English
    • Self-motivated, Creative
    • Super Organized & Results focused
    • Experience with the Tanzanian market/consumers’ a plus
