    Field Application Specialist

    Your tasks

    • Provide clinical and technical product support for the Biomedical Product Portfolio
    • Deliver product presentations and support equipment demonstrations and site visits
    • Provide comprehensive operator training on applications, daily maintenance & troubleshooting on the instruments supported.
    • Resolve instrumentation issues through reagent application, hardware and software troubleshooting
    • Manage communications (email and telephone) with customers to ensure resolution and correct follow up to assure customer satisfaction
    • Prepare, update and maintain accurate logs, equipment performance data, service records and parts usage software
    • Communicate effectively with our sales team and field service engineers providing colleagues with information about the needs of our customers
    • Train and assist other Field Application Specialists/Service Engineers on complex troubleshooting and application fixes
    • Active participation with sales teams in upgrades and service contract renewals within the assigned region.
    • Travel regionally to support customers within the region.

    Your profile

    • You have a Degree or Diploma in Biomedical, Clinical Sciences or equivalent.
    • You have at least 2 years of equipment support experience in biomedical laboratory & medical/imaging instrumentation
    • Knowledge of other medical techniques will be an added advantage
    • Excellent computer, troubleshooting and communication skills
    • Excellent Oral and Written Communication, with ability to influence senior decision making in relation to specialist discipline
    • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, occasional international travel.

    Product Managers / Sales Representatives

    Your tasks

    • Conduct sales calls to market, sell, and service the company’s medical and diagnostic products and services to existing and new customers.
    • Implement quarterly sales planning & forecasts and achieve sales goals and objectives.  Maintain knowledge of diverse Sciencescope products and support sales efforts of same.

    Credit Collections Representative

    Your tasks
    • Providing valuable information to the credit manager that will assist in vetting of new clients to determine their credit worthiness
    • Following up the allocated debtors for payments on due and overdue accounts as per the ledger through telephone, emails, letters & personal visits to their premises
    • Identifying changes in payment patterns and make recommendations to avert non payment
    • Reconciling the debtors accounts allocated and ensuring they are up to date

    Customs Clearance & Documentation Clerk

    Your tasks

    • Review and identify the customs documentation requirements
    • Liaising and advising suppliers on the various import regulations and requirements
    • Ensure that all documents called for by authorities are submitted promptly to ensure speedy clearance of goods and orders are correctly recorded in the customs and company’s systems
    • Ensure that all cleared goods are also cleared from the company’s system as well as Kenya’s Simba System/ KENTRADE and the same are properly recorded for future reference
    • Verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for delivery against documents
    • Calculating and processing duties and taxes to be paid
    • Arrange for payment of taxes and duties
    • Review and match issue documents to material to ensure correct item is being delivered to the warehouse
    • Liaise with officials in various agencies to ensure goods are cleared through customs
    • Arrange for transportation, warehousing or product distribution of imported or exported goods and liaise with Freight Forwarders
    • Should have good knowledge on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements and all other customs related matters
    • Handle good working relationship with customs authorities and other stakeholders in the industry
    • Provide regular and accurate reports on all cleared cargo and status of outstanding goods for clearance
    • Apart from customs clearance the candidate should be able to carry out other secretarial work such as and not limited to preparation/typing of various office documentation, keeping records and managing renewal of permits / licenses, providing various report to the management e.t.c

    Your profile

    • Must hold a diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related course
    • 3-5 years relevant work Experience
    • Certificate in Computer studies or relevant with high proficiency in Microsoft office
    • Must be conversant with the KRA clearance procedures and Simba System and KENTRADE as well
    • Knowledge of documentation requirements and preparation Must have the ability to able to clear both Sea & Air shipments at the port as well as borders

    • Excellent computer, troubleshooting and communication skills
