    PMTCT Officer

    Overall Job Function

    Reporting to the Senior Program Officer, this role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day planning and implementation of PMTCT activities across CHS-supported facilities in collaboration with the Ministry of Health

    Key Responsibilities

    Adherence and Retention Officer

    Overall Job Function

    Responsible for providing technical support in the planning, implementation and evaluation of adherence support activities required for HIV prevention, care and treatment services within CHS supported facilities in coordination with the Ministry of Health.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Overseeing planning, initiation and implementation of the CHS Adherence Psychosocial Support minimum package at CHS supported facilities.

    Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

    Overall Job Function

    Responsible for coordinating all field-related M&E activities and provide constant feedback to both the technical and project teams including health care workers across CHS-supported health facilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Act as a link between CHS and CHMTs on all health data related issues.
    2. Provide technical support to CHS-supported health facilities in collection, collation, analysis and reporting of health information to relevant stakeholders using national reporting systems.

    Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer - Data Analysis

    Overall Job Function

    Reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor, this role will be responsible for helping the project technical team in definitions, data collection and data analysis as well as ensure updates on donor reporting indicators and summarizing project data for the consumption of project staff and other stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Prepare regular high quality presentations of summarized program data for Tegemeza Plus project staff and other stakeholders.

    Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer - Operations

    Overall Job Function

    Reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor, this role will be responsible for timely   collection of data; validation and ensuring that CHS supported sites have accurate and timely data. This person will coordinate the Monitoring and Evaluation Officers as well as Data Officers to ensure that accurate data is collected and validated at facility level.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Coordinate the timely collection, validation, reporting and presentation of donor and program utilisation data.
    2. Support the cascade of reporting HIV program data from facilities to the National M&E system (DHIS).
    3. Coordinate County M&E stakeholder activities that include data review meetings and TWGs to evaluate and disseminate the performance of CHS supported activities.
    4. Conduct regular site visits to ensure all elements of the data system are being utilised effectively, assessing and identifying breakdowns and areas that require clarification and/or improvement.

    Data Manager

    Overall Job Function

    Responsible for providing technical support for developing a centralized computer-based record keeping/HMIS system to manage facility/patient information from CHS-supported facilities, as well as ensure high integrity of data all facility.

    Quality Improvement Advisor

    Overall Job Function

     

    Reporting to the Program Director, Tegemeza Plus, the Quality Improvement Advisor will closely work with the project technical staff and the rest of the project implementation team to support teams to effectively implement, document and report quality improvement (QI) activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Building capacity for QI coaching at project supported sites by closely working with the project QI teams to plan for and implement activities aimed at institutionalising the use of QI methods to improve service delivery and client outcomes through training, on-site coaching and support supervision.
    2. Support needs-based quality improvement capacity building for community-based HIV counselling and testing while supporting them in providing leadership to improvement initiatives.
    3. Work with health facilities to apply QI approaches to routine facility practices to bridge performance gaps.
    4. Support the Ministry of Health to establish systems for continuous learning and implementation of continuous QI methods as well as the spread of successful innovations throughout the health sector.

    Gender Based Violence (GBV) Coordinator

    Overall Job Function

    Reporting to the Prevention Advisor, the GBV Coordinator has the overall responsibility for leading, coordinating and overseeing GBV activities in the projects. In addition, the GBV coordinator has the responsibility to oversee the capacity building efforts of the County GBV prevention and response. This position will also have the responsibility of overseeing case management and overall technical support related to GBV prevention and response activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Provide technical support, supervision and guidance to GBV-related activities (including case management, psychosocial support to women, girls and men, emotional support groups, information dissemination, risk mitigation activities and community mobilisation).
    2. Develop comprehensive and tailored technical capacity building plans for County/facility GBV staff, as well as local and implementing partners based on respective needs and ensuring quality services in coordination with the CHS staff responsible for the overall partnership development.
    3. Develop training packages tailored to the capacity and needs of counties: training package on GBV; assessment, identification and referral of protection cases; delivery of Psychological First Aid (PFA); dissemination of key protection messages and information on available services.

    Pharmacist

    Overall Job Function

    Reporting to the Program Director, Tegemeza Plus, he/she will work closely with county and sub-county teams, relevant health care providers, project staff and other partners to ensure commodity security and effective management of ART & TB commodities at all levels of the health care system through strengthening pharmaceutical management, supply chain management, pharmaceutical management information systems and building capacity of providers to improve the quality of pharmaceutical services provided to clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Provide technical support to NASCOP and NTLD-Program in the design and implementation of supply chain management interventions for TB and HIV commodities such as commodity security, forecasting, quantification, procurement planning, order management planning, distribution, Logistics Management Information System (LMIS), quality assurance among others.
    2. Provide technical leadership and support to develop and implement strategies for strengthening commodity security and building supply chain management systems, pharmaceutical management, and capacities at county, sub-county and facility level.
    3. Support county commodity security committees in coordination, management, distribution and stock monitoring of TB & HIV commodities.

    Director of Programs

    Overall Job Function

    Reporting to the CEO, The Director of Programs will be leading the implementation and management of CHS Programs according to the CHS Program strategy; Ensuring effective and efficient management and coordination of the program team. In collaboration with the CEO and the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT), developing new orientation and innovative ways to ensure the best programming according to Donor requirements.     Reporting to the Director of Programmes, this role oversees the implementation of HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment activities supported by CHS under the PEPFAR funded Tegemeza Plus Project in Central Kenya.     Monitoring and Evaluation/Data Manager

    Overall Job Function

     

    Reporting to the Program Manager, the Data Manager will develop and design, implement and manage a functional database for real time data collection. Additionally, he/she is responsible for offering strategic direction and leadership on Monitoring and Evaluation of project activities to ensure transparency and accountability and lead data management processes to monitor the project’s performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. In consultation with TB REACH and the National TB Program team, develop a database user requirement document.
    2. Develop, design, implement and maintain a program database for capturing program-specific real time data.

    Field Coordinators

    Reporting to the Project Manager, the field coordinator will be involved in the planning and execution of the project, providing on-site mentoring, implementation and monitoring of the Finding the Children Project at intervention facilities. The field coordinator will also serve as the project monitor.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Support the development, implementation and routine monitoring of the project workplan.
    2. Provide technical and administrative day to day support and oversight for project sites.

    Program Manager

    Overall Job Function

    This role oversees the implementation of a TB REACH funded project -Finding the children: Paediatric TB in Kenya. The Program Manager will be responsible for providing management and technical support to ensure implementation of the Finding the Children project including MER activities in supported counties. Specifically, he/she is responsible for planning, coordinating and providing strong leadership to the project team.

    Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (6 Months)

    Responsible for coordinating all M&E field-related activities and provide constant feedback to both the technical and program teams including health care workers in health facilities

    1. Act as a link between CHS and CHMTs on all health data related issues.
    2. Provide technical support to CHS-supported health facilities in collection, collation, analysis and reporting of health information to relevant stakeholders using national reporting systems.

    Program Officer

    Overall Job Function

    A key member of CHS program staff involved in the planning and execution of HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment services. Specifically, the Program Officer is responsible for on-site mentoring and implementation of Prevention, Care and Treatment activities.

    1. Provide technical advice and support to health workers (doctors, clinical officers, nurses, counsellors, laboratory and pharmacy staff) in all aspects of planning and implementation of HIV services (care and treatment, TB/HIV, HIV testing and counselling) to ensure that patients receive the full complement of prevention, treatment and care in accordance to GoK/MoH and other applicable standards
