    Patient Business Services Manager

    PBSD, REF. 05/001

    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance, the successful candidate will provide support in managing the activities of Patient Business Services Department (PBSD). The key focus will be overseeing the administrative and operational activities of the Credit Control and Patient Welfare Departments and update the CFO and Senior Manager Finance on the Key areas.

    •    Applicants should have a university degree supported with CPA (K) or Master Degree in Business Administration with 3 years' experience in Health Care Patient Billing Systems         Processes /Credit Control Management.
    •    Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and customer service skills adhering to set timelines for reporting.
    •    Experience in Financial Counselling will be an added advantage.

    Human Resources Coordinator

    REF No. 05/002

    Working closely with the respective line managers, the successful candidate will coordinate & ensure that HR functional support is provided in the areas of recruitment, employee relations and human resource development.

    •    The ideal candidate must have a Degree in HRM/Social Sciences or equivalent and be a member of IHRM.

    The Human Resource Officer will offer seamless support towards the provision of HR functions in the areas of recruitment, benefits administration and employee relations.

    Sous Chef

    Sous Chef will be responsible in running kitchen operations in a timely manner in line with the food production quality and specifications so as to meet/exceed AKUH staff/patients/guests satisfaction.

    •    Applicants must possess a Diploma in Food Production from a reputable Institution with at least 6 years' relevant work experience in an Institutional food production set-up.
    •    S/he should have sound knowledge of food safety and sanitation; training in HACCP Management System will be an added advantage.
    •    The ideal candidate should be computer literate with good organizational and communication skills as well as have knowledge of menu planning.
