    PRODUCTS AGENT - Electronics

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The role of the Products Agent includes but is not limited to:

    • Developing a category product line and enhancing existing products.
    • On-boarding new brands, vendors, and products.
    • Getting new products as soon as the suppliers have them.
    • Negotiating product prices and payment terms.
    • Handling relationships with new and current suppliers.
    • Ensure product population on the website and maintain accurate and complete product related information.
    • Identify process improvements to achieve goals related to product marketing and customer service.
    • Having an accurate knowledge of competition.
    • Provide competitive analysis on various vendors’ market offerings; identify market trends, pricing or business model.
    • Analyzing consumer buying behavior and predicting future trends.
    • Getting the periodic electronics products promotional material from the suppliers.
    • Work with Managers and marketing teams to ensure that products and services meet customers’ current and future needs.
    • Responsible for pricing products in liaison with purchasing and finance.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • At least a C+ (Plus) grade  in High School/KCSE.
    • At least a diploma degree for attended training (not distance/online) on either information science, information technology/computer science, business or a related field.
    • Exceptional commercial awareness of the electronics field.
    • Must be proficient with PCs and Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
    • Must be an advanced internet user.
    • Must be willing to engage in field work.
    • Willing to work on weekends.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Must be exceptionally self-disciplined and have a very strong work ethic.
    • Proficiency in oral and written English.

    PURCHASING TRAINEE - Computing & Electronics

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Among other duties, the successful candidate shall:

    • Confirm availability (or lack thereof) of computing & electronics products from vendors as per customers' inquiries.
    • See to the timely purchase of customers' orders.
    • See to the timely settlement of suppliers/vendors accounts.
    • Build relationships with suppliers/vendors.
    • Work closely with the Products Associates, Customer Service Associates & Category manager to formulate and execute strategies for the business unit across all marketing channels.
    • Have good judgment and wisdom in negotiations, projections, and communication.
    • Deal with returns and warranty-related cases.
    • Carry out all other related tasks assigned by departmental and business superiors.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.

    • At least a B (Plain) grade  in High School/KCSE.
    • At least a bachelor's degree for attended training (not distance/online) on either purchasing, finance, information technology/computer science, business or a related field.

    HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Bench-marking and formulating positions requirements.
    2. Ensuring vacant positions get maximum exposure to potential candidates.
