    Senior Corporate Sales Executive

    Our client a well-established ICT Retail Company selling high end ICT solutions both software and hardware is currently seeking to fill the role Snr. Corporate Sales Executive.

    Reporting To: Manager, Sales & Marketing

    Job Responsibilities

    • Business development by identifying, evaluating, researching and analyzing sales opportunities and prospects in the Corporate Sector;
    • Assist in the implementation of the marketing strategies;
    • Facilitate increase in sales, service and productivity;
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners by providing support, information, and guidance;
    • Assist resellers, vendors and partners to enhance their service offerings;
    • Visiting clients to introduce products and carry out visits for after sales service or queries;
    • Explain the payment and other policies pertaining to the sales to the customers;
    • Before initiating a sale carrying out a background check to verify the ability of the corporate customer’s ability to pay;
    • Research and implement short, mid and long term organizational strategies by being on the forefront of market trends, developments and competition;
    • Recommend and implement value added solutions and product offerings;
    • Make use of Enterprise CRM tools to prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information for strategy improvement;
    • Ensure TQM in both product and service delivery by establishing and enforcing organization standards and policies;
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and trainings, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional associations;
    • Contribute to the team effort by working together and accomplishing related results as needed;
    • Ensure the payments have been received or LPO authorized before delivering the products;
    • Assist in collecting the invoice payment in case of delay;

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT/Business/Commerce
    • At least 5+ years of sales experience ICT Retail Environment
    • A track record in achieving targets
    • Possess good Communication Skills;
    • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    Client Relations Executive

    Our client a leading shipping and logistics company is currently seeking to fill the role of Client Relations Manager. The Client Relations Manager is responsible for directing the daily activities of the ocean freight Staffing, warehouse operations, maintenance of the facility and equipment, implementation of safety, security, budgeting and customer service.

    Reporting To: Sea Exports Manager

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage the team-set goals, assess their performance versus targets, cultivate and sustain their capabilities
    • Manage the operational relationship with the Client -Notify the Client on potential or real of operational issues that have been escalated by the operators.
    • Continuously follow up on consignments and ensure that Clients have been updated on the status in real time.

    Monitor file processing:

    • Validate the opened file before the process begins ,
    • Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures are applied at each step of the business process
    • Closed files are archived monthly
    • Ensure that operations are performed in line with gross margin & anticipated disbursements when a quotation has been issued.
    • Validate the supplier invoice file allocations & amounts
    • Ensure efficient and effective communication flow within the internal team the outcome of the client requests/negotiations/proposals, so the entire team is focused on any client updates.
    • Maintain and ensure compliance with freight forwarding departmental compliance including any applicable legal regulations.
    • Advise the Management on any significant operational issues that impact on quality of service, invoicing

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding
    • 3 years relevant experience
    • Experience tracking relevant KPIs
    • Proficient in MS Office, with working knowledge of CRM platforms

    Finance & Administration Manager

    Our client a leading ICT Retail Company in East Africa is currently seeking to fill the role of a Finance & Administration Manager.

    The Successful Candidate will be in charge of the day-to-day management of finance, administration, human resources and procurement.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Management and statutory accounts and other long term financial projections
    • Ensure that the most efficient and effective financial control systems and reporting mechanisms are in place.
    • Management of financial projections and other relevant reports, in consultation with the management team and other departments
    • To efficiently manage all external contracts and to ensure that all the Company’s expenditure is correctly authorized and accounted for.
    • Overseeing the HR function of the company
    • Developing the human resources capacity by enhancing professional development, compensation and benefits, performance evaluation, training and recruitment
    • Manage Human Resource procedures in relation to recruitment, training, and appraisals, ensuring these are properly documented, and advice on relevant policies.
    • Ensure that appropriate policies are in place with regard to procurement and tendering processes to secure the best deals from service providers.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. MBA is preferred
    • CPA K
    • 5years’ experience in Finance and Administration roles preferably in the retail environment/ ICT, 4 of which must have been in management level
    • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, budget/cash-flow monitoring and internal accounting controls
    • Good knowledge of procurement processes and internal control systems

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinker.
    • Excellent risk management and cost control skills.
    • Ability to deliver timely results despite obstacles and limited resources.
    • A strong grasp of all relevant legislation and of how it applies to the role.

    • Good understanding of relevant IT systems
    • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
