    Credit, Treasury & Legal Auditor

    Reporting to Audit Manager, the job holder will be required to provide independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes to add value and improve organization’s operations

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Contribute in conducting risk assessment for and planning for assigned audit assignments.
    • Perform audit procedures to give assurance on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment, and compliance to KCB Group policies and Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) Prudential guidelines.
    • Review and evaluate the system of internal controls and assess their adequacy and effectiveness in managing risk and propose value adding recommendations for improvements.
    • Provide assurance that organization’s objectives and goals will be achieved efficiently and effectively.
    • Maintain respectful and effective communication and relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Document the results of audit work in accordance with internal audit guidelines and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.

    The Person:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in LLB or Business Related field from a university recognized by Commission for University Education.
    • Possession of CPA/ACCA, ACI and CIA/CISA/ACIB qualification is an added
    • Diploma in Law for the Kenya School of Law is an added advantage.
    • Master degree is an added advantage
    • Proficiency in the use of audit management software e.g. TeamMate
    • A minimum 4 years’ experience in external audit or internal audit in a bank; including at least 2 years’ experience in credit, treasury &/or legal audits.
    • Appreciation of Banking regulatory framework and internal policies.
    • Knowledge of Audit Standards.
    • Appreciation of the Bank’s Credit and Treasury products and services.

    Operations Auditor

    • A minimum 6 years’ experience covering 2 years in Internal Audit and/or 4 years in external audit or general banking.

    Senior Resourcing Manager

    Brief Description

    Reporting to the Head of Resourcing, the position is responsible for managing and executing manpower plans (balance line manager employment needs with supply), recruitment and selection (line manager need assessment, candidate Identification, preliminary screening, interviewing and selection) in liaison with the HR Business Partner(s) and or Senior HR Advisor(s).

    Detailed Description

    • Coordinates (with) persons (HR Business Partners /Senior Advisors, other Resourcing Managers, line interviewers, candidates) involved in the resource planning and or recruitment and selection processes.
    • Overall responsibility for Retail Division Resourcing
    • Develop and execute annual manpower, recruitment and selection plans and budgets relating to HR area.
    • Support line management / HR Business Partners/ Senior HR Advisors with the job analysis process (preparation of assessment tools, determination of ranking methods, definitions of specialized experience and selective placement factors that will increase the likelihood that qualification expectations will be responsibly met)
    • Prepare and document evaluation criteria, assessments and questionnaires.
    • Prepare and post Job Announcements, determine eligibility and minimum qualifications of applicants based on defined competencies and criteria.
    • Screen, shortlist, rate and rank qualified applicants in accordance with criteria and applicable policy requirements and ranking method agreed upon for the vacancy.
    • Conduct and manage job interviews in line with applicable policy requirements.
    • Respond to line management and applicant inquiries during the recruitment process.
    • Maintain relationships with INTERNAL / EXTERNAL customers/stakeholders/supplies relating to own HR Area: Line Managers, Job Candidates/ Applicants Recruitment Agencies and Consultants, Head-hunters, and Heads of Departments.
    • Maintain data, records and statistics relating to own HR area: Job Descriptions, Job Advertisements, Interview documents, candidate long and short lists, criteria notes and approvals, final selection recommendation documents, recruitment turnaround time.
    • Provide overall reporting and analysis for the department

    Job Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in a HR Management OR a Business Related Field from a University recognized by Commission for University Education.
    • Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management
    • Master’s degree will be an added advantage
    • A minimum of 4 Years’ experience in Resourcing covering the following areas:
    • Manpower Planning,
    • Recruitment and Selection
    • Development and implementation of resourcing tools, processes and methods
    • Job Evaluation
    • Relationship Management
    • Knowledge of Labour and Employment Laws and HR Regulatory Guidelines

    Digital Channels Manager - Mobile & Internet Channes

    Brief Description

    The primary role of the Digital Channels Manager is to lead and coordinate the banks mobile and other emerging channels initiatives. The manager must demonstrate a strong understanding of and high regard for the Digital channels – mobile and other emerging channels – as a business delivery channel for the Bank's corporate and retail customers as well as for online merchant services. The position requires someone with experience and expertise in mobile and internet based financial systems technologies as well as SMS and USSD connectivity. The person should have a good grasp of emerging channel technologies and applications and convergence of mobile and internet channels.

    Detailed Description

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide technical support for existing mobile and implementation of related projects.
    • Keep track of user issues and oversee their prompt resolution.
    • Following established change management practices by ensuring that they are well tested and are rolled out in a manner that adheres to established business processes.
    • Continuously analyze user requirements to develop and provide solutions
    • Routine system administration and management
    • Maintain up to date system and user documentation
    • Ensure compliance of SLAs by system vendors.
    • Develop real time online reports and monitoring tools to be able to track internet / mobile banking and internet acquiring system uptime and performance.
    • Continual Service Improvement by recommending and implementing upgrades or changes to the mobile & internet solutions for increased performance, security or business benefits.
    • Develop subject matter expert knowledge of Mobile, eCommerce and other payment banking technologies.
    • Develop Business Continuity plans for both mobile channel solutions.
    • Support Channel space with Network connectivity design

    Job Requirements

    For the above position, the successful applicant have the following minimum requirements:

    • A Bachelor's degree in IT related field.
    • Professional IT qualifications in one or more of the following: ITIL, Linux, Prince2, programming, DB Administration.
    • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a relevant IT field; including at least 3 years’ experience in support of Mobile, Internet and agency banking technologies.
    • Knowledge of IT Banking Systems Implementation & Capabilities.
    • Knowledge of Database management systems , solutions and administration.
    • Knowledge of networking technologies and solutions will be an added advantage
