    Product Manager - Premium and Corporate Issuing

    Job description

    Reporting to the Head of Card Operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the portfolio for Commercial and Premium cards product suite. He/she will be required to implement strategies to ensure portfolio growth, including driving product uptake, product usage and encourage spending habits.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implementing segmentation strategy for Commercial and premium card products.
    • In liaison with corporate banking, SME and credit teams, conducting analysis of existing customer needs & gaps and identifying potential new product opportunities.
    • Analysing existing and new product propositions and advise management on strategic courses of action.
    • Managing and tracking life cycle product performance of Commercial and premium products.
    • Designing and executing marketing and activation campaigns with help of management and other team members to achieve uptake, card spend and usage targets.
    • Leveraging on partnership with internal and external parties to drive portfolio growth.
    • Working with Head office and branch teams to ensure smooth delivery of business objectives and customer experience.
    • Building successful relationships throughout the bank and across all functions.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
    • Any additional professional qualification is an added advantage.
    • At least 5 years’ experience with commercial and premium products in both operations and sales or marketing.
    • Certification and/or Training from major Card Schemes (Visa, MasterCard & AMEX) is an added advantage.

    • Responsive to ongoing challenges and ability to demonstrate enthusiasm and strong desire to keep learning.

    Manager - Card Operations

    Job description

    Reporting to the Head of Card Operations, the ideal candidate will be oversee execution of operational aspects of card products. He/she shall be in charge of the teams handling card operations functions - data processing, disputes & chargebacks, Card & Pin production, Operational aspects of Loyalty program and card holder insurance program.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Managing the Card operations teams and monitor adherence to processes and procedures.
    • Maintaining performance standards related to branch, contact centre and direct cardholder inquiries or requests.
    • Working with various teams to resolve cardholder issues and measure performance according to established policies, procedures, government and card schemes guidelines and regulations.
    • Maintaining an adequate level of knowledge in banking matters, compliance, Card scheme mandatory updates, policies and procedures, management techniques and personal skills.
    • Providing operational and administrative support for all card products and loyalty programs by implementing card program/product changes including statement messages, SMS & email messages, product parameter
    • changes, and monitoring and tracking stock of cards.
    • Overseeing production life-cycle, including maintaining contact with branches and external service providers.
    • Providing feedback, and guidance concerning product servicing and operations.
    • Collaborating with product management teams and other stakeholders in driving product efficiency and profitability.

    Desired Qualifications and Competencies

    • At least 7 years strong banking and operations background.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field or any relevant filed. Master’s Degree is desired.
    • Familiar with general accounting principles and possess the ability to interpret financial documents, and track expenses and income in a detailed manner.
    • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, good phone and e-mail etiquette, a professional presentation, and a high degree of personal initiative.
    • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task.
    • Responsive and strong decision-making abilities.
    • Knowledge of card business and training on card scheme operational regulations and guidelines.
