    Company Sales Administrator - Nairobi

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • To drive growth and hit sales targets, effective management of the sales team is critical. This involves designing and executing a strategic sales plan that not only expands the company's customer base, but also strengthens its market presence. To achieve this, the sales team needs to be managed, coached, and monitored, with clear objectives and expectations set and accountability enforced.
    • Creating strong, lasting customer relationships is essential, requiring an in-depth understanding of customer needs and preferences. This involves identifying emerging markets and market shifts, as well as keeping abreast of new products and competition status. Continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences is crucial in this regard.
    • Communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization. Sales objectives must be met, and sales must be closed consistently, and unique selling points, promotions, and sales pitch ideas developed to drive sales growth. Quick thinking and interesting customer incentives are also required to drive sales growth.
    • Sales targets must be set with the sales team, with coordination with the marketing/database manager on lead generation and promotion of the organization and products. It is also essential to understand the ideal customer and how they relate to the products, as well as to provide training, coaching, and deliverables to the sales representatives.
    • Acquisition of new clients and lead conversion from various marketing channels with the database manager is also a critical requirement, along with consistently meeting revenue goals in accordance with team/organizational goals. There is also a need to actively upsell and cross-sell to existing customers, obtain referrals from current clientele to expand the sales pipeline, and manage customer relationships.
    • Management of FPMs and the development of new accounts is also crucial, along with reporting and operations to the Directors. Pre- to post-sales support activities for designated goods and regions need to be overseen to ensure maximum client satisfaction. There is also a
    • need to assist in the onboarding process for new hires, and ensure timely invoicing and payments.
    • Relevant qualifications, experience in planning and implementing sales strategies, and customer relationship management are key requirements. The ability to lead a sales team, proficiency in MS Office, excellent time management and problem-solving skills attention to detail, and a creative mindset with the ability to suggest improvements are also essential.
    • Effective administration of the sales team requires a wide range of skills and capabilities, including strategic thinking, customer-centricity, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards success. With the right approach and skillset, achieving growth and hitting sales targets is eminently achievable.
