    Network Manager – Africa

    Having a direct reporting line to the Head of Network & Partnership Management, this role will be responsible for hunting for new clients as a single contributor across Africa with specific focus on Telcos. The hire will need to be target driven and have a passion and ownership to deliver numbers.

    Key Role Responsibilities

    • In charge of supplier management in the assigned region - contract & terms negotiation, cost analysis, new product launch.
    • Responsible for DT One procurement activity in the assigned region – volumes and gross margins evolution.
    • Gatekeeper of local markets evolution, regulatory updates. Responsible for supply-demand matching.
    • Support pricing and go to market activity along with sales, pricing and marketing teams.
    • Onboarding of new suppliers - business case & forecast. New product launch coordination.
    • Drive the deployment of new offers (VAS services: gift cards, vouchers, bill payment...) for existing and new customer segments.
    • Support direct sales activities with Telcos in the region.

     Essential Experience

    • 8+ years of sales experience with proven track record in delivering new business within the Telco space.
    • Experience working in, selling or having business relationship with Telco organizations across Africa.
    • Experience interacting and negotiating with C level decision makers.
    • Strong balance of both strategic planning and active hands on approach is a must. This will be a hands-on role with deep involvement in execution, leading from the front.
    • Must possess a “can-do”, entrepreneurial drive, focusing on solving problems creatively with a high level of energy in a fast paced, global, complex and geographically diverse company.
    • Strong organization skills, management of priorities and the ability to work under pressure.
    • Ability to influence and build credibility across all levels hence building collaborative relationships.
    • Good story-teller is a plus for this role.
    • Willing to travel.
    • Proficient in CRM, Excel and PowerPoint.
