    Research Assistant K MR 7

    Qualifications:

    1. Minimum of a diploma in public health or social science related field. A degree in social sciences or related studies will be an added advantage
    2. At least 2 years’ experience in conducting qualitative interviews, translation and transcription of qualitative data.
    3. Experience interviewing health care workers and stakeholders in health.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Making initial contacts with potential study subjects and introducing them to the study.
    2. Consenting the study respondents prior to the interviews and group discussions.
    3. Facilitate/moderate focused group discussions.
    4. Note taking and writing debriefing reports for all the FGDs conducted.
    5. Ensuring safety of data collection tools and equipment assigned.
    6. Accurate and prompt study documentation.
    7. Transport Reimbursement for participant
    8. Other duties as assigned by the Study Coordinator

    Other required skills

    1. Must be keen and attentive to details and have ability to follow instructions and procedures properly.
    2. Excellent written and verbal communication required.
    3. Must be non-judgmental and flexible to mix with all cadres of people
    4. Prior working knowledge of digital Health Information Systems is desired
    5. Must have good interpersonal skills, flexible and a team player
