Duties and Responsibilities

1. Contacting Participant and caregivers
2. Ensuring strict adherence to research protocol SOP’s
3. Ensuring Informed consent carried out
4. Ensuring all Data collection –qualitative and quantitative is conducted as per protocol
5. Overseeing participants to ensure informed consent
6. Day to day management of research assistant
7. Ensuring study finances are accounted for liquated in a prompt manner.
8. Provide weekly updates to principal coordinator
9. Coordinate study entry process to health facilities ensuring good working relationship

Qualifications

1. Diploma in Nursing, Social Science, Counselling, Community Health or Anthropology
2. Experience as a qualitative research assistant within research studies is essential

Required Experience

1. Minimum of 5 years’ research experience preferably within research setting
2. Knowledge of Dedoose application is added advantage

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of a diploma in public health or social science related field. A degree in social sciences or related studies will be an added advantage
2. At least 2 years’ experience in conducting qualitative interviews, translation and transcription of qualitative data.
3. Experience interviewing health care workers and stakeholders in health.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Making initial contacts with potential study subjects and introducing them to the study.
2. Consenting the study respondents prior to the interviews and group discussions.
3. Facilitate/moderate focused group discussions.
4. Note taking and writing debriefing reports for all the FGDs conducted.
5. Ensuring safety of data collection tools and equipment assigned.
6. Accurate and prompt study documentation.
7. Transport Reimbursement for participant
8. Other duties as assigned by the Study Coordinator

Other required skills

1. Must be keen and attentive to details and have ability to follow instructions and procedures properly.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication required.
3. Must be non-judgmental and flexible to mix with all cadres of people
4. Prior working knowledge of digital Health Information Systems is desired
5. Must have good interpersonal skills, flexible and a team player

Qualifications

1. Minimum of bachelor’s degree in social science disciplines, particularly sociology and anthropology from a recognized university
2. Possession of a Master’s degree in the above disciplines from a recognized university will be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Develop an in-depth understanding of study design and goals, and ensure that the study is conducted
2. in compliance with study protocols and other regulatory requirements.
3. Identify and mobilize eligible participants for the interviews
4. Work closely with the study coordinators to prepare weekly interview schedules
5. Conduct qualitative interviews among participants
6. Assist in transcription and translation of the collected data
7. Take lead in developing codebook and coding of transcripts
8. Provide regular progress reports to the study coordinators
9. Assist in coordinating community advisory group (CAG) meetings
10. Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research and data collection activities
11. Participate in regular research team meetings
12. Respond to questions about the study posed by participants and any other relevant persons
13. Lead and/or collaborate in the analysis of qualitative data and the preparation of reports to funders and for peer-reviewed journals
14. Disseminate and present research findings for information and advocacy to government officials, health professionals, and community leaders
15. Disseminate and present research findings at national and international meetings
