    Associate - Africa SHaPE Hub

    WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
    You’ll work in teams of typically 3 – 5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of client engagement. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You’ll also have the opportunity to present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.

    You will join one of our Africa SHaPE Hub offices around the world to work in teams and directly with our clients.     Learning Coordinator

    YWHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

    • You will be based in one of our offices in Africa as part of our office learning team. You will support the execution and roll out of our Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa’s (EEMA) regional and local office learning strategy.
    • You will work closely with the regional associate director of learning, the local office learning manager (depending on your location), EEMA client service professionals and other people stakeholders in your local office location and across the region.
    • You will report to the associate director of EEMA office learning.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    1. You will perform a range of operational duties in support of McKinsey regional and office learning programs.
    2. In this role, you will be responsible for the organization and delivery of learning (on-demand, virtual, in-person), project management, process improvement and program modification, assessment of program impact and data management/analysis.
    3. You will perform planning and organization of the pre-program logistical arrangements including managing participant and faculty communications (e.g., invitations, agendas, pre-requisites), hotel arrangements (room block, meeting space), off-site venues, ground transportation and program materials as needed for in-person and digital programs. You will monitor budget and manage payment for external vendors. You will also provide on-site or virtual operations support, lead faculty meetings and prep faculty as needed. You will maintain process documentation and best practices as well as train and coach colleagues on program operations and processes.
    4. You will contribute to workstreams and act as an independent contributor to team projects. You will support program process improvements, proactively identifying and coordinating solution development and implementation in collaboration with the learning team.     Risk Manager

    You will advise partners and colleagues on potential risks related to the firm’s client service risk often with a focus on a given practice or functional area.

    WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

    1. You will be based in our Doha, Riyadh, Cairo, Casablanca, Johannesburg or Nairobi office as part of the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa client service risk team. You will work as part of firm risk’s global client service risk team which advises McKinsey partners and the firm’s Client Service Risk Committee (CSRC). The CSRC is a committee of senior partners who counsel on how the firm can best serve its clients and publish its knowledge while mitigating and managing the risks involved. 
    2. You will work closely with the broader risk team as well as with colleagues in other functions (e.g. communications and legal) to advise on risks relating to providing professional services such as organizational and individual conflicts of interest, confidentiality and reputation risk. You are also responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant policies. 

    WHAT YOU'LL DO
