    Deputy Director Enforcement and Security

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Deputizing the County Head of Security and Enforcement
    • Formulating and implementing policies and strategies of the County security and enforcement
    • Coordinating and enforcing security issues in the county
    • Regulating enforcement and security staff rules in the county
    • Giving regular reports on enforcement and security to the County Head of Security and enforcement

    Director Disaster Management

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Chief Officer -Governorship, he/she will be responsible for:

    • Coordinating disaster risk management programmes, emergencies, policies, strategies in the county

    Director Co-Operative Audit

    Duties and Responsibilities

    The Director Co-operative Audit will be responsible to the County Chief Officer responsible for Co-operative Development.

    Duties and responsibilities will include:

    Municipal Manager (Malaba Municipality)

    The Municipal Manager will be responsible to the Municipal Board for managing the affairs of the Municipality in line with Article 184 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, and the Urban Areas and Cities Act, 2011 and (amendment) 2019.     Director Public Works

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Providing oversight of the Directorate and interprets and oversees compliance with laws, regulations, codes and/or standards;

    • Budgeting, carrying out Quality Assurance of Roads Services;

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Coordinating the development and implementation of environmental policy, legislation and related statutes;
    • Formulating policies and plans for natural resources management programs.
    • Coordinating, prospecting and mining of Natural Resources (granting, renewing and revoking artisanal mining permits, maintaining a register of artisanal miners and maintaining fair-trade)

    Senior County Legal Counsel - 2 Positions

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Reporting to Principal County Legal Counsel, a Senior County Legal Counsel shall be;

    • Undertaking research on assigned legal issues;

    County Solicitor

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the County Attorney, the County Solicitor;

    • Shall be the principal assistant of the County Attorney in executing the functions of the County Attorney;
    • Organizing, coordinating and managing administrative and legal functions of the Office of the County Attorney;
