    HR Site Supervisor

    HR SITE SUPERVISOR (Kshs17,000 – Kshs25,000)

    Job role: To ensure completeness and accuracy of the day-to-day human resource functions for our outsourcing client and ensure that workers are effectively managed to attain efficiency while increasing productivity for our client.

    Qualifications

    1. Diploma in Human Resource or its equivalent
    2. Knowledge of the Kenyan Labour Laws.
    3. Good supervision and management skills
    4. Good communication skills (both written and oral)

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Assisting in the recruitment and separation of staff.
    • Responsible for induction and orientation of new employees.
    • Addressing any staff concerns and queries to the relevant person via the right channels.
    • Monitor on clocking/attendance of all the seconded employees. Report cases of absenteeism or work abandonment.
    • Acting as the liaison between the client and Peoplelink as far is effective workers management is concerned
    • Ensure uniforms and PPE’s are worn at all time.
    • Handle disciplinary cases as per the set disciplinary procedures.
    • Manage offs and leave days by employing appropriate Rota system.
    • Liaising with Clients representatives and Peoplelink management to escalate issues when they arise.
    • Ensuring that office common sense due care is adhered to- these include; good grooming, cleanliness of shop floor, kitchen area, toilets and lines, as well as avoidance of unnecessary interruptions like excessive phone usage.
    • Handle accidents and ensure due process is followed in reporting the occurrences.

    Salary range: Ksh.17,000 -Ksh.25,000

    Credit Controller

    CREDIT CONTROLLER (GROSS SALARY - Kshs60,000)

    Our client, a pharmaceutical company based in Nairobi is seeking to employ a credit controller.

    Job Purpose

    • Assist the CFO with overseeing the credit control function, both evaluation of new customers’ credit worthiness as well as the credit worthiness of existing customers. Acting as a link between finance and sales and assisting with collection of debtors and evaluating what collection strategies to be used.
    • The job also includes resolving problems in relations to payment in a professional effective manner and reconciling complex month-end or periodic accounts.
    • The candidate must also report on outstanding issues, while capturing potential debtor challenges or hiccups.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Online approval of sales orders based on creditworthiness.
    2. Communicating with customer or sales reps on overdue accounts.
    3. Preparation of monthly debtor’s collection target and update accounts.
    4. Preparation and circulation of monthly debtor listing.
    5. Review of credit worthiness of new customers via account opening form before review by CFO.
    6. Periodic review of overdue customers and recommendations to CFO when to escalate to demand letters/legal action for difficult to collect customers.

    Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

    1. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    2. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel and its applications.
    3. Cash management, Financial Accounting and Corporate Finance competencies.
    4. Detailed knowledge of the Kenyan income and VAT tax laws.
    5. Advanced knowledge of SAP.
    6. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in commercial.
    7. Should have CPAs or ACCA.
    8. Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment to corporate mission.
    9. Those who are within the age bracket of 28-35 years are encouraged to apply.
