    Procurement Intern(6 Months Contract)

    Job Summary:

    • Our Client in the energy sector is looking to hire a procurement Intern who will be tasked with supporting the procurement team in optimizing our supply chain and procurement processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Supplier Cleanup:

    • Mirroring suppliers’ details in GEHL to REK. (Names, bank details etc., contacts, emails.)
    • De-activate all suppliers who haven’t traded for the past 3 years.
    • Ensure that all suppliers are KYS compliant.
    • Update all missing supplier documentation in Oracle. e.g. missing KYS forms, PIN details, Bank details etc.
    • Ensure the contract folder is up to date and terms of payment are maintained, start and end dates of contracts are indicated for monitoring of SLA purposes.
    • Ensure that accurate payment terms are captured for all existing suppliers. The payment terms must be as per executed contracts.
    • Generate and prepare aging reports for all suppliers in Oracle (Both GEHL and REK).

    L-supplier:

    • Assist in collating I-supplier & and I-Procurement information for supplier onboarding and creation purposes.
    • Liaise with Procurement Account managers in the supplier Categorization process.
    • Ensure existing suppliers are accurately created in Oracle as per Category type.
    • Generate reports from Oracle that mirror defined categories.
    • Ensure accurate item code description for all goods/services procured.
    • Assist in tendering and assets disposal process.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Procurement & Supply Chain Management.
    • A minimum of 1 -3 years of experience.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Treasury Accountant (6 Months Contract)

    Job Summary:

    • Our Client in the energy sector is looking to hire a Treasury Accountant to be tasked with Management of cash and loan accounts, maintaining financial and accounting records, performing banking operations and providing appropriate financial advice to the company.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Daily matching of bank statements and cash book to ensure that any double receipts/erroneous receipts are detected and corrected.
    • Daily follow up with banks on unidentified credits, unexplained bank debits and ensuring all reconciling items are addressed.
    • Daily preparation of un-receipted transaction reports and follow up with the relevant sections to ensure all items are receipted within set timelines.
    • Processing of journal vouchers, debit memos, cash management transactions and invoice payments.
    • Analysis of various bank charges such as guarantee fees, LC commission fee, interest charges, unpaid cheque charges and other bank charges to ensure correct amounts are charged on Company accounts.
    • Maintain custom bonds /guarantees register, regularly updating relevant parties on the issuance of new bonds and cancellation of bonds and guarantees.
    • Monthly revaluation of foreign-denominated accounts.
    • Processing applications for letters of credit and custom bonds/guarantees, loan drawdowns/repayments and follow up to ensure they are issued within the required timelines.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred.
    • 1 -3 years of accounting experience.

    Convenience Retail Accountant

    Job Purpose:

    • This position aims to ensure that Internal controls and accounting policies in Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) sites and convenience stores are well-designed, implemented, monitored, and evaluated to ensure smooth running of these sites.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for company-run stations and convenience stores.
    • Participate in month-end closure procedures for all COCO and convenience stores including booking of incomes and expenses in the Oracle system by the 5th of the subsequent month.
    • Participate in monthly/quarterly stock takes within COCO sites and convenience sites
    • Review COCO/Shop TAR reconciliations and highlight areas for improvement, follow up, and ensure that timely action is taken to remedy any issues noted.
    • Monitor and ensure the financial controls are strictly adhered to in accordance with company policy.
    • Ensure correct and timely posting of COCO sites transactions into the ORACLE ERP System I.e. Invoices, Expenses, receipts, and Stock adjustments.
    • Review transactions posted in station/shop accounting systems for accuracy and completeness.
    • Conduct profitability analysis and any other such analysis to improve COCO and convenience stores performances.
    • Visiting at least one station per quarter to assess the effectiveness of internal controls (stocks, cash, system, and operations) and activity reports. All stations should be visited at least twice a year.
    • Preparation of assigned balance sheet/COCO/Shop reconciliations monthly, to be completed and submitted to the Chief Accountant by the 15th of every month.
    • In liaison with the assigned territory managers, proactively detect and report any potential fraud.
    • Conduct training for station and convenience store managers on finance issues, company policies, and procedures.
    • Preparation of any other reports as requested by the COCO Accounting Manager.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce or Economics
    • Professional Accounting certification (CPA, ACCA)
    • Experience in maintaining books using ERP systems.
    • Minimum 2 years experience in retail business/supermarkets.
    • Experience in preparing financial reports.
    • Capable of meeting tight deadlines and working at odd hours including weekends.

    Sales Promoters

    Job Purpose:

    • Responsible for all sales activities in assigned distributors in a defined region. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery and Expansion of Market Share through elaborate Listing campaigns, Improvement and Maintenance of Company Image by working diligently at the assigned distributor outlets.

    • Implement special sales activities to reduce stock such as Banding, Sampling and activations.
    • Log all customer complaints in the standard format and ensure they are resolved in a timely and effective manner.

    Job Summary:

    • Our client a fitness distribution company is looking to recruit an accountant.The accountant is responsible for entering accounting records organising the documents and also providing all financial records on the system.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage all accounting transactions.
