    LPG Sales Manager

    The LPG Sales Manager will lead the LPG team in driving our company’s LPG sales and marketing agenda in Kenya, which is a highly competitive and rapidly evolving market. Portfolio includes sale of both bulk, cylinder (bottled) gas, and accessories.

    Sales Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement LPG business plans and strategies in Kenya, aligned with our client’s LPG vision, strategy and direction, to deliver both financial (revenue, margin, cost, working capital) and non-financial (volume, credit, growth) business targets.
    • Work closely with Government and Industry to promote high standards, good practices and a level playing field; and lobby for implementation and enforcement of a robust LPG regulatory framework.
    • Implement an efficient and effective Packed LPG Route-to-Market channel strategy to grow our clients gas brand penetration and market share.
    • Develop and maintain commercially rewarding relationships with our LPG customers and distributors.
    • Supervise the LPG sales team, focussing on career and talent development.
    • Manage the business in line with our clients HSSE policies and guidelines.

    Qualifications for the Sales Manager Job

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Marketing with at least 5 years work experience in Sales & Marketing.
    • Has previous hands-on experience and success in: FMCG channel/distributor management; selling & negotiation; marketing strategy; customer relationship management; and leading a team is necessary.
    • Candidates will be required to demonstrate this.
    • Commercial acumen with sound analytical, communication, decision making and interpersonal skills.

    Front Line Technical Support (FLTS) - Lubricants

    Reporting to Lubricants Sales & Marketing Manager, the Frontline Technical Support will be responsible for providing first line technical advice to our clients customers and staff on the application and use of our client lubricants in order to best exploit the technical attributes of products.

    Front Line Technical Support Job Responsibilities

    • Provide front line technical support to customers and our clients staff including problem solving, troubleshooting and application advice.
    • Provide failure diagnosis for product-related equipment failure (e.g. engine, bearings, gears, filters, valves) where product quality or practices are in question.
    • Prepare customer plant or equipment audits & lubrication surveys.
    • Conduct field trials & Oil condition monitoring as necessary to support the overall business strategy.
    • Develop and deliver appropriate product technical training to direct our client staff to develop their product-application-services expertise.

    Minimum Requirements for the Front Line Technical Support Job

    • Bachelors’ degree in Engineering with at least 3 years’ experience in a related field
    • Experience in a customer facing role like sales.
    • Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

    Field Based Account Manager

    The Field-Based Account Manager is responsible to grow both bulk, and packed LPG sales in their assigned region, deliver customer satisfaction at all times, and successfully navigate in the highly competitive and rapidly evolving LPG market.

    Account Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Implement LPG business plans and strategies in Kenya, to deliver both financial (revenue, margin, cost, assets) and non-financial (volume, credit, growth) business targets.
    • Develop and maintain commercially rewarding relationships with our LPG customers and other main stakeholders.
    • Conduct LPG technical training for customers and other stakeholders.
    • Ensure the integrity and value of our client owned LPG assets in assigned area is secured.

    Qualifications for the Account Manager Job

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years work experience in Sales or Marketing. LPG

    Field Based Account Manager (Reseller and Public Sector)

    The Field-Based Account Manager will be responsible to grow our Fuel, Lubricants and LPG business in the Reseller and Public Sector (i.e. Government) channels, while delivering high customer satisfaction at all times, and successfully navigating in the highly competitive and rapidly evolving oil industry market in Kenya.

    Account Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement business plans and strategies, to deliver both financial (revenue, margin, cost, assets) and non-financial (volume, credit, growth) business targets for the Reseller and Public Sector channels.
    • Build and maintain strong networks and commercially rewarding relationships with key stakeholders within the Reseller and Public Sector channels.
    • Manage the tender processes to Central/County Government and other agencies e.g. parastatals, adhering to procurement rules and regulations.
    • Support implementation of marketing propositions within the Reseller and Public Sector channels.
    • Manage the business in line with our client HSSE policies and guidelines.

    Qualifications for the Account Manager Job

    • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years work experience in Sales and Marketing.
    • Hands-on experience and success in selling & negotiation, and customer relationship management is necessary. Candidates will be required to demonstrate this.
    • Demonstrated experience in Government business relations is required.
