    Compensation and Benefits Manager

    Our business is growing rapidly with more than 150,000 customers in Kenya. In this context, we are seeking to onboard a Compensation and Benefits Manager who will deliver on the compensation and benefits structure that best fit business needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Formulate remuneration & benefits strategy, policies, and guidelines to attract, motivate and retain key talent.
    • Lead the benchmarking and market data analysis participating in surveys and conduct best practice research regarding remuneration & benefits to analyse market trends and the appropriate company response to them.
    • Manage and lead administration of overall company benefits including medical cover and formulation of related SLA’s. 
    • Partner with regional HRBPs and various stakeholders in determining the appropriate allocation for bonuses, performance increments including overseeing the documentation of such processes.
    • Provide a comprehensive support and consulting function to HRBP’s and line management for all aspects of the total rewards model, job evaluation, market alignment, expatriation, recognition, wellness, and benefits.
    • In collaboration with HR team, lead benefits planning and provide guidance on reward and recognition programs across the business. Guide on the implementation of fixed and variable compensation for staff in line with the job grade structure.
    • Perform payroll functions including the processing of payroll and generating the payment template monthly and sharing the reports with the Country Manager for approval.
    • Implement the business total rewards policy in compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines. Keep abreast of regulatory changes affecting compensation and benefits to steer the business to compliance.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a business-related field
    • 5-7 years’ experience in generalist HR with at least 4 years in compensation and benefits administration.
    • Experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
    • Experience in a fast paced and matrixed organization will be an added advantage.

    HR Projects Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, coordinate and execute projects across the business including reporting on project status and/or potential risks in critical path.
    • Drive alignment across all of the pillars of the HR team (i.e strategy, L+D, Events, People Ops).
    • Own internal documentation of the HR operations team, creating a canon of process documentation that keeps the team highly organized. 
    • Build HR competence to deliver on various HR projects through learning and development initiatives.
    • Work across the HR operations team’s list of initiatives to ensure all projects are well measured, scoped, defined and tracked. 
    • Support in the implementation of changes emanating from various projects ensuring seamless alignment to the affected functions and processes.
    • Evaluate the current business state and design alternative and future state HR initiatives and approaches and facilitate implementation.
    • Update key stakeholder on project agenda and other dependencies through meetings and in documentation throughout the project life cycle.
    • In delivery of the projects, ensure congruence with the various aspects of the HR spectrum including employee relations, recruitment, and retention etc and employment laws and regulations.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a business-related field
    • 5-7 years’ experience in generalist HR with at least 4 years managing and executing HR projects
    • Excellent project management skills with in-depth knowledge of project delivery life cycle.
    • Ability to work with team members across multiple levels of the organization
    •  Demonstrable competence in comprehending, documenting. assessing and improving complex business processes.

    Employee Relations Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and develop programs that foster fair, respectful, and consistent approach to employee relations.
    • Collate and analyse data and metrics on existing and potential employee welfare initiatives to develop strategies and/or recommendations for positive employee relations.
    • Develop policies, procedures and programs that address key risks and support the business in promoting of fair and equitable employee relations and decisions.
    • Ensure employee policies and procedures are compliant with employment regulations.
    • From time to time, evaluate existing HR processes and practices and make recommendations.
    • Develop diversity and inclusivity programs across the business and partner with HRBPs for implementation.
    • Serve as liaison person for fundamental HR issues partnering with HRBPs and management for resolution of complex employee relation issues.
    • Design interventions, including surveys to capture employee issues/ welfare status for action planning.
    • Lead business-wide training on best employee relation practices and strategies.
    • Represent the organization in contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and labor organizations.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law or Human Resource Management.
    • 5-7 years’ experience in generalist HR/ Legal with at least 4 years handling employee relations.
    • Sound knowledge of the principles and practices of employee labor relations.
    • Good understanding and application of employment law and regulations.
    • Demonstrable experience executing programs that positively impact employee relations.
