    Manager, Customer Excellence Systems

    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Productivity, the Manager Customer Excellence Systems is responsible for leading, planning, coordination, and administration of customer experience platforms. This team lead position provides expertise and skills needed to effectively manage, maintain, and support the customer experience solutions through proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Providing the highest level of technical skill and expertise in Cisco PCCE, Dynamics CRM, ZOOM Customer Insights and Windows and Linux Operating systems and related network services protocols such as TCPIP, Telnet and DNS
    • Monitoring and supporting the availability of the customer experience systems including but not limited to Microsoft Dynamics Servers, Cisco PCCE, Calrec and Customer insights servers and client telephony endpoints.
    • Designs, implements, and oversees a proactive process to collect and report data and statistics for customer experience systems environment; ensures the systems operate efficiently and meet the needs of the organization; ensures they are kept at most current stable version/release; performs research and testing to verify impact of installing all updates; responds to reports of slow or erratic performance
    • Ensure robust and reliable telephony, social media, email, customer engagements and other touchpoints are captured and responded to on various customer experience platforms
    • Design, implementation, configuration and administration of high availability, business continuity, disaster recovery and site resilience framework for customer experience platforms
    • Actively participate and engage in procurement and contracting of customer experience systems software licenses and maintenance contracts
    • Design and oversee new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems. 
    • Research, monitor and recommend state-of-the-art technologies that may have an application at the Bank by enhancing productivity and achieving customer experience business objectives
    • Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
    • Develop, implement, and adhere to regular systems maintenance policies and procedures, including change request mechanisms and update schedules to ensure optimum uptime and service availability.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
    • A Professional Certification in MCSE /MCITP/MCSA.
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Technology, with at least 3 years’ experience in in Cisco PCCE and CRM, 2 years’ experience in Windows and Linux operating systems and related network services administration, and 1 year experience in Project Management and User Training.

    Cybersecurity Specialist, Application Security

    The Application Security Specialist is responsible for undertaking security assurance of applications before release to production, periodic security reviews, and is the contact person in Cyber Security for all system change reviews. The specialist ensures that security requirements are well captured and embedded in the secure SDLC for all system developments and deployments, secure coding practices are adhered to, and secure software and application configurations are maintained in the system’s lifetime.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Define, document, and implement software security policy, secure coding practices and guidelines for the bank in line with industry best practices and technologies commensurate with risk and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain a software security assurance framework which that shall guide information security team in security and risk assessments of applications, as well as provide security requirements for developers and third parties to adhere to.
    • Lead Information Security involvement in all software and application implementation projects and scrum teams to ensure all applications and changes meet set information security requirements before introduction to production environments.
    • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Business Application Development teams to identify application/software security improvements and plug-in identified security controls in DevOps tools.
    • Perform and coordinate regular trainings on secure coding, software security and application security practices for the development and other KCB technology teams at regular intervals.
    • Collaborate in the continuous monitoring and defence of the Bank’s critical applications, such as core banking, and digital channels, for cybersecurity threat indicators; report on violations and security measures taken to address threats.
    • Identify, integrate, and maintain security tools, such as SAST and DAST tools (Static/Dynamic Application Security Testing), standards, and processes into the software development or product life cycle (SDLC / PLC), and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Participate in performing risk assessments for business solutions for inherent security risks and provide recommendations for addressing such risks.
    • Define, create, and deliver software/application security compliance reports and relevant metrics to the Bank’s Senior Management.
    • Protects the bank’s applications and systems by defining access privileges and other security control structures.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • University degree from a recognized institution preferably in Information Technology/Computer Science/ Cyber Security/ Engineering (Electrical & Electronics) or related field.
    • A professional certification in either of the following: CDP: Certified DevSecOps Professional • CSSLP: Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional • CISM: Certified Information Security Manager • CISA: Certified Information Systems Auditor • CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
    • At least 5 years' experience in Technology.
    • At least 2 years' experience in Information Security.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • University Degree preferably in Business related field with relevant marketing qualifications/ certifications. Having a postgraduate and or Marketing and Communication qualification will be an added advantage.
    • 8 or more years of progressive experience (preferably from large organizations) in Strategic Brand and Marketing Communications
    • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory operating environment with relevant local/regional/ geopolitical context, trends and challenges.

    Senior Manager, Brand Communications

    Reporting to the Head, Brand & Marketing Communications this position is responsible for the brand messaging and communication for KCB Group products and services. The job holder will help grow brand awareness, build the company profile, and protect the organization’s overall brand reputation.

     Key Responsibilities:

    • Work with the various business segments, both commercial and non-commercial, to develop annual brand communication strategies and plans, that can be easily across the group.

    Data Privacy Manager, Technology

    The role holder will Manage the coordination of data protection implementation in KCB Bank Kenya and support KCB Group liaison for the policies and practices, reporting to the Data Protection Officer. The Data Privacy Manager Technology will be monitoring compliance, inform / advise and report on data Protection obligations for technology facing operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review technology processes implemented by the Bank to inform, advise, and issue recommendations to the business with regards to Data Protection, Privacy, and Compliance.
    • Responsible for the implementation of data privacy in technology engagements and to monitor compliance in technology facing operations and projects through enforcing privacy by design and default in technology operations.

    • Review and respond to Privacy related inquiries and requests efficiently and accurately and responsible for tracking Privacy requests and Regularly training stakeholders involved in Data collection/processing.

    • Assisting the DPO in drafting internal documentation, workflows and procedures concerning Privacy and working with the DPO to ensure data protection clauses are included in all technology contracts.
    • Maintain and update the Personal Data inventory for respective locations, ensuring reconciliation with the Information Technology Asset inventory.
    • Assist the Data Protection Officer Conducting Privacy Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments for technology facing operations during the initiation of any new/modified business process, facility, service, or technology that shall impact KCB privacy posture.
    • Conduct regular assessments to ensure the Bank’s compliance with the Data Protection laws and providing advice on the impact of Data Protection efforts working closely with the DPO in the management of privacy related incidences within technology operations.
