    Collection Manager

    Job Description

    Do a daily detailed analysis of the  credit portfolio performance by branch , by Finance partners  ,and by products and enforce collections with the branch management Follow up with branch management on both team and individual finance partners’ loan collections action plans, track performance progress and promptly take / recommend remedial actions. Prepare daily and weekly management reports for the assigned portfolios for decision making purposes Conduct adhoc and routine visit stressed portfolios and enforce collections Make recommendations for changes in lending policy guided by historical track record and future projections on  Loan collections Maintain branch and Head office call summary reports for significant clients and update their files. Provide updated collections reports for management and statutory reporting Maintain a master group meetings schedule and ensure compliance and attendance of meetings by Finance partnerss Do any other duties that may be assigned by the Management

    Debt Recovery Manager

    Job Description

    • Project relevant trends that affect the collectibles of the portfolio and isolate potential problem areas Monitor loan repayments globally and initiate/recommend course of action Instruct and Follow up with External Service providers on NPA matters i.e. Debt collectors, auctioneers etc. Extract, confirm and transmit CRB information to licensed Credit Reference Bureau Conduct client visits (on a need basis) and telephone calls to follow up on payments from NPA debtors.
    • Report on NPAs (Write offs, Collections, Security Cover etc.) on a regular pre-determined basis and provide information for CBK reporting Ensure one day arrears management for all disbursed loans is fully executed.
    • Ensure a record is maintained with track of all the recovery progress for all loans in arrears
    • Ensure weekly arrears reports are prepared for all the branches and follow with them to ensure full repayment.
    • Ensure demand letters are prepared and ensure that they are forwarded to the defaulting customers. Ensure reports are prepared and recommendations made on bad debts to be written-off to the management for approval.
    • Ensure an up to date register on loan related insurance claims is maintained and ensure prompt reimbursement from underwriters.
    • Monitor debt collection response cycles and contacts as well as credit control performance
    • Manage resource scheduling and the determination of priority of work and procedures to maximize production output and success levels.
    • Report and monitor all risks associated with debt recovery Generate compliance reports for use in decision making and performance appraisals

    Do any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.

    Manager Operation Excellence & Controls

    Job Description

    1. Achievement of greater than 70% audit pass rate (or other minimum ruling pass rate as may be amended from time to time).
    2. Timely support to implement special projects to deliver superior performance and banking business growth plans.
    3. Incidences of operational losses in the portfolio branches due to lapses in controls or control breakdowns.
    4. High level of BCP awareness within the portfolio branches
    5. Timely incident reporting and escalation of real or potential significant operational risk exposures from the portfolio branches/units.
    6. Availability of updated departmental operating instructions/procedure manuals with portfolio branches.
    7. Effective embedding of branch minimum control standards in portfolio branches (through key controls self assessments process) – this includes effectiveness of the Key Controls Self Assessments(KCSAs) and monitoring of operational risk/compliance risk
    8. Effective embedding of Money Laundering Prevention controls in the portfolio branches/units.
    9. Quality and accurate reporting to Manager, Branch Operations and Controls/Head of Operations. Cross team collaboration and leadership skills – proactive engagement with the branches and all other key relationships.
