    SOC Engineer

    The Security Operations Center (SOC) Engineer plays a critical role in protecting the Bank’s information systems and data by continuously monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cyber security threats. Operating within a 24x7x365 SOC environment, the role is responsible for investigating correlated security events, identifying and escalating security incidents, and serving as a primary point of contact for suspected cyber security incidents. The SOC Engineer works closely with internal remediation and technical teams to coordinate effective incident response, contain and resolve threats, and strengthen the Bank’s cyber defence posture. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise across multiple security domains, combined with the ability to communicate clearly and influence both technical and business stakeholders to ensure timely and effective security outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    Group Head Treasury Liquidity Management

    THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Liquidity Strategy
    • Develop and implement group-wide liquidity management strategy and Frameworks aligned with Group  Treasury Strategy.
    • Develop a liquidity and funding plan to ensure adequate funding for operations and investments, oversee  intercompany funding, pooling funding resources and leveraging funding across the group.
    • Develop a framework for funding diversification across our footprint, monitor and optimize global funding  positions across all markets and ensure full compliance with liquidity regulatory limits in all markets.
    • Coordinate with regional treasurers and finance teams to ensure compliance with local banking laws and  regulations, FX codes and any other provisions. Establish standardized processes for cash forecasting,  reporting and liquidity planning. 
    • Support strategic initiatives such as capital allocation, balance sheet optimization, and contingency funding  plan. 
    • Risk Management
    • Identify, measure, monitor and mitigate Liquidity, FX and interest rate risk across the group. Oversee  hedging strategies and ensure alignment with risk appetite and policies. Management counterparty  exposures and maintain strong banking relationships.
    • Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess resilience under adverse market conditions.
    • Establish a dashboard which reflects early warning indicators and risk appetite thresholds for liquidity.

    Group Head of Loan Syndication and Distribution

    THE ROLE PURPOSE

    • We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled professional to join Treasury as the Group Head of Loan Syndication & Distribution.
    • The role leads the origination, structuring, syndication, and distribution of complex financing solutions across our footprint for both internal and external clients.
    • The mandate covers large corporates, financial institutions, sovereigns, and sub‑sovereigns (including Ministries of Finance), with a strong focus on infrastructure, strategic sectors, and transformational transactions.
    • The role also acts as Lead Arranger and Co‑Lead Arranger on bond issuances, oversees end‑to‑end execution, and integrates risk‑hedging solutions (FX, rates, commodities, and loan‑related hedges) to deliver bankable outcomes across the Group and its clients.
    • A key responsibility is to redistribute risk to the market—churning the balance sheet to enhance returns on capital and maintain minimal balance‑sheet holdings while leveraging the full Group network to distribute exposures efficiently.

    • Engage and structure transactions for Ministries of Finance, sovereigns, multinationals, and DFIs, designing optimal capital structures, evaluating funding windows, and advising on execution strategy, market timing, and bankability.
    • Build and anchor strategic relationships with DFIs, ECAs, multilateral agencies, and private‑credit investors to catalyse scale, crowd‑in capital, and support the Group’s mandate to redistribute and optimise risk across the network.
    • Structuring and Credit Design
    • Lead the development of term sheets, covenant packages, inter‑creditor frameworks, collateral waterfalls, security structures, and all associated governance documentation to ensure robust credit protection and bankable transaction design.
    • Optimise pricing, tenors, amortisation profiles, RAROC, and risk‑transfer mechanisms (including participations, hedging solutions, and credit insurance) to meet or exceed return thresholds in line with Group risk‑return matrices.
    • Oversee LMA/LSTA‑based loan documentation, ensuring high‑quality drafting and negotiation of conditions precedent, legal due diligence, and jurisdiction‑specific legal opinions for complex, multi‑country transactions.
    • Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure full regulatory adherence, comprehensive due‑diligence execution, and enforceable documentation across all participating jurisdictions.
    • Syndication and book-running
    • Set the distribution strategy, including hold sizes, target investor lists, and fee tiers to optimise market participation and balance‑sheet efficiency.
    • Run RFP processes and manage the preparation and dissemination of Information Memoranda (IM) and data rooms to ensure transparent, well‑governed investor communication.
    • Lead investor engagement, including roadshows, investor teach‑ins, Q&A sessions, allocation strategy, and active management of grey‑market dynamics during book‑building.
    • Coordinate satisfaction of Conditional Precedent (CPs)/Conditional Subsequent (CSs), oversee agency setup, and ensure seamless end‑to‑end settlement across internal and external stakeholders.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, or Engineering.

    Group Head Asset & Liability Management

    • The job holder is responsible for executing the ALM strategy within the Group in ensuring an efficient and well-coordinated approach to managing liquidity risk and interest rate risk in the balance sheet.

    THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   

    Treasury Strategy:  

    • Liquidity Management: Oversee and enhance the treasury liquidity processes and activities to monitor and manage the bank’s liquidity positions including Cash Reserve Requirement (CRR) and gap analysis, ensuring that the bank maintains desired liquidity levels and no regulatory breaches.  
    • Interest rate risk management: Collaborate with the Group Asset and Liability Committee (GALCO) to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance requirements and mitigate potential impacts from interest rate and liquidity risks, particularly concerning IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book) exposures.  
    • Proactive Risk Management: Anticipate market and regulatory challenges, implementing proactive strategies to manage and mitigate risks effectively. This includes developing and executing contingency plans for unforeseen events to ensure full compliance.  
    • Policy Development & Implementation: Partner with the CFO, Group Treasurer and Country Treasurers to ensure effective execution of ALM policies, Guidelines and Product manuals.   
    • Balance Sheet Management: Focus on balance sheet analytics, comprehensive forecasting, and accurate financial modeling to inform strategic decision-making and ensure efficient and effective balance sheet management.  
    • Formulating strategies to manage banks’ Liquidity and Funding position optimally: Ensure appropriate funding profiles are achieved (diversification of funding base and lengthening of the funding profile).

     Risk Management:  

    • Risk Appetite & Limit Management: Monitor and escalate liquidity and IRRBB risks, ensuring strict adherence to approved limits and escalating breaches as necessary. Develop and implement remedial actions within the prescribed governance framework to maintain balance sheet stability.  
    • Risk Appetite Evaluation: Conduct in-depth evaluations of risk appetite versus risk exposure, ensuring alignment with organizational risk tolerance levels.  
    • Ensure adherence to EMRF: Ensure that adequate systems and process are in place to comply with Group and country treasury policies, guidelines, product notes among others.

    Talent Sourcing Manager

    Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountability

    • Leverage multiple channels, including social media, professional networks and internal databases.

    • Participate in the acquisition of talent by ensuring the right job profiles conducting interviews and onboarding.
    • Support recruitment, skill profiling and succession plan and hire the right calibre of people and references and security background checks are completed prior to confirmation
    • Manage Job descriptions to ensure every staff has a signed JD in liaison with the line managers
    • Keep up to date all data and reports pertaining to the resourcing function to mainly ensure all reports (BOARD, EXCO, Group and HR Department) are provided on time and accurately.
    • Recruitment Administration Management to ensure all queries and documentation related to the      role are tracked, responded to and processed properly and in a timely manner.

    Education

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management is essential. Other acceptable fields of study are Business Administration/Management from a recognized university.
    • Related postgraduate/professional qualifications will be an added advantage.

    • At least 3 years’ experience in general HR administration and resourcing practices.

    Relationship Officer -Channels

    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    • Sell the Bank Digital products and on-board existing and new customers on Bank digital platforms.
    • Deliver the set targets as per the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the channels in the respective Branch.
    • Agent Recruitment, document collection & process approval at the branch level
    • Ensure agent Activation and monitoring of Agents performance in the branch.
    • Ensure activity rate of the Agents, Merchants POS and PWE Tills are at 90%.
    • Driving IMT business growth at the branch
    • Driving Intercountry business growth at the branch
    • Driving the Merchant POS business growth at the branch
    • Driving the Merchant PWE business growth at the branch
    • Drive adoption of new digital products at the branch
    • Formulate & execute innovative digital offerings, aligning with business goals & customer experience.
    • Manage product roadmaps & business cases for digital channel growth.
    • Driving IMT business growth at the branch
    • Monitor and manage the cards stock.
    • Manage key customer relationships through regular contacts and visits by ensuring the effective call program is maintained on all assigned and prospect customers.
    •  Ensure compliance to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers.
    • Conduct market analysis & propose technology enhancements.
    • Collaborate with head office team to achieve the payment business strategy.
    • Monitor channels performance, & product impact
    • Assess market competition within the payments & financial services industry.

     Qualifications

     Qualification, Experience, Skills, and Attributes

    • Business related degree from a recognized institution
    • At least 2 years’ experience in handling Agency or Merchant Acquiring business in banking sector,
    • Strong understanding of Digital Channels Business & Operations
    • Experience in Relationship management
    • A passion for technological innovation and awareness of global trends in digital media technology.
    • Analytical skills to interpret and evaluate financial statements.
    • Good understanding of the banking industry
    • Sales Skills and Customer Service Skills
