    Manager - Learning & Development

    Description

    This role is responsible for managing and implementing a range of learning and development activities and projects. The role reports to the Head of Learning

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support in identifying and sourcing suitable learning and Talent Development interventions to address identified training needs
    • Drafting and ensuring regular updating of Learning policies and developing and updating learning tools and documents
    • Ensure effective implementation of the induction program
    • Effective end to end implementation of training programs.
    • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and learning & Development policies
    • Managing annual mandatory training ensuring full completion within targeted timescales and providing timely and accurate updates to HRBPs and senior leaders
    • Responsibility for monitoring and evaluating learning and organization development activities, managing the preparation of accurate and up-to-date data analysis.
    • Support implementation of learning initiative and projects

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Education, Psychology, Social Sciences or related field.
    • Relevant professional qualification e.g. IHRM, CHRP
    • At least 4 years’ experience in training management and operations.

    • Project Management skills
    • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite
    • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
    • Good stakeholder communication skills
    • Detailed oriented
    • Good team player and able to work within a diverse team
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills
    • Ability to priorities workload and multi-task effectively while considering future organizational requirements
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst retaining a strong eye for details
    • Strong team player, able to work effectively with diverse client groups
    • Ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately
    • Critical-thinker and problem-solver
    • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and exercise independent judgement regarding operational decisions and processes.
    • Good report writing skills
    • Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Power Point and Excel)
    • Demonstrates strong conflict management skills

    Learning Coordinator

    Description

    Responsible for coordination and administration of training activities 

    Key Responsibilities

    • End to end effective coordination of induction and training programs
    • Maintaining accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all learning and development activities and processes including recording and monitoring attendance.
    • Advising staff on training policies and procedures including resolving or supporting the resolution of problems related to the operation of the learning.
    • Preparing training reports such as Induction reports, training hours, training evaluation and training assessment.
    • Timely filing of NITA payments, claims and reimbursements
    • Support with Learning Management System administration e.g. Course creation, updating training data, user support
    • Support with Learning projects as required

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences or Industrial Psychology from a recognized university
    • Relevant professional qualification e.g. IHRM

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Experience of providing end to end support on events and training coordination activities
    • Demonstrable experience of data analysis and reporting
    • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite.

    • Evidence of strong administrative and organizational skills
    • Ability to priorities workload and multi-task effectively
