    Sales Executive

    Job Purpose: Outbound sales for a major office furniture company. Sales person will be responsible for winning new clients and converting leads into sales.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Creating and maintaining sales pipelines
    • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
    • Visiting potential customers for new business
    • Providing customers with quotations
    • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
    • Gathering market and customer information
    • Recording sales and order information
    • Ensure customers are provided with accurate and timely information on sales transactions.
    • Responsible for accuracy of information, updating and monitoring of information from input to completion of the order.
    • Assist in ensuring availability of sample materials in the showroom.

    Educational Qualifications and Experience:

    Insurance Staff

    Role Summary: Reporting directly to the Director, the purpose of the job is to coordinate, prepare, advice and ensure timely renewals and maintenance of insurance policy and services to the Clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensuring timely communication to the clients regarding their insurance matters;
    • Preparation of renewal notices and co-coordinating thereof with the Clients and underwriters ;
    • Timely communications of changes in the policies to the Clients and insurance companies.
    • Preparation of quotation and follow-up;

    • Sound Knowledge of various classes of insurances;
    • Knowledge of prevailing IRA and Industry ratings;

    Country Director

    Overview: The Country Director (CD) will manage high-level relationships with the government, donors, and investors, with a large focus on growth and expansion.
    You will be responsible for leading the Rwanda Distribution Centers (DC), information management; providing direction and feedback to employees, and the design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of Zipline activities.
    You should enjoy playing multiple roles including: documenting processes, refining the tools, training team members, communications with internal and external stakeholders, performing data analysis, leading meetings with senior personnel from the government and partners.

    Responsibilities

    1. Represent Zipline to senior government officials, international donors, and to press and media. Develop and foster effective working relationship with clients from national to grassroots level.
    2. Manage all country office staff including oversight of country office finance, administration and human resources. Provide coaching and results-oriented leadership of the country staff. Stimulate individual staff performance and lead overall team development
    3. Working with global staff to ensure effective reporting and developing continuous process improvements.
    4. Deliver performance management objectives, agreed business plans, budget and targets and report on all major factors impacting on the business.
    5. Establish strategic alliances to explore areas for collaboration and expanding and strengthening Zipline’s impact.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 6 years of experience in management role
    • Minimum 8 years working in logistics, supply chain, or healthcare
    • Excellent communication skills for day-to-day relations with public health officials and the local communities served by the Zipline system
    • Ability to navigate complex government processes with multiple influencers, and to negotiate and achieve consensus
    • Strong organizational, project management, and project execution skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work with organization leadership on strategic, operational, and organizational issues, as a strong yet collaborative team member
    • Experience conceiving, planning and executing complex programs or projects with verifiable results
    • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, team building and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently to solve complex problems and work under tight deadlines
    • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time within Rwanda and internationally.

    Advanced Qualifications

    • Experience in healthcare, transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
    • Familiarity with aviation, flight controls, or unmanned aerial vehicles
    • Experience with maintenance programs that combine software and hardware

    Languages

    • Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English
    • Kinyarwanda and French proficiency preferred but not required

    Site Operations Manager

    Overview: The Site Operations Manager (SOM) will plan, direct, and coordinate operations at the Zipline Distribution Center (DC) ensuring that our customers always receive life-saving deliveries from our Zips (our drones) whenever they’re requested.

    We are looking for a fast learner who can think logically and strategically, someone who has the proven ability to work through really hard problems with patience and perseverance, who is extremely organized and detail-oriented, and who can motivate others and help them work more effectively.

    The position requires a highly motivated individual with proven leadership skills, outstanding analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, and experience making organizations and/or systems work better.

     

    We need someone who can get things done, even under chaotic circumstances.

     

    Responsibilities:

    1. Manage daily operations of the DC, applying as required a hands-on approach to producing solutions to strategic, technical, operational and personnel related challenges which impact on service and performance.

    2. Ensure customer experience goals and operational targets are achieved or exceeded through a combination of direct leadership of your team and influence of suppliers and third-party vendors.

    3. Lead the constant drive and focus to improve operational efficiency via process, people or practical measures. Develop effective reporting mechanisms and communicate feedback and direct operating experience to the global team, including input on how to prioritize and manage any necessary engineering or operational changes.

    4. Build and maintain relationships with partners, delivery logistics partners, and other third-parties to support the mutual growth and success objectives of Zipline.

    5. Collaborate to forecast ongoing capacity requirements and partner with merchants to plan resources to meet those requirements. Control the operational levers within the scope in order to achieve cost, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Minimum 5 years in a operations, logistics, or management role – you are a people person and love working with a team.
    • Excellent communication skills for day-to-day relations with public health officials and the local communities served by the Zipline system.
    • Experience with vendor management, including: making procurement decisions, signing contracts, and managing vendors to a high level of performance.
    • Ability to be effective in high-pressure situations and tight deadlines; loves to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
    • Travel as needed within the assigned geographic region to develop and maintain partner relationships, support capacity expansion, and to drive process improvements.

     

    Advanced Qualifications:

     

    • Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
    • Familiarity with aviation, flight controls, or unmanned aerial vehicles
    • Experience with maintenance programs that combine software and hardware

     

    Languages:

    Head Bartender

    Job Duties

    • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
    • Mix and serve drinks to patrons, directly or through wait staff.
    • Collect money for drinks served.
    • Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
    • Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
    • Balance cash receipts.
