    • Carrying out research and development on ICT standards, guidelines and approaches and coordinating their consistent and efficient application in the Public Sector;
    • Formulating and developing Government information infrastructure;
    • Coordinating and developing ministerial/departmental websites;
    • Coordinating the development of the national ICT policy and regulatory framework;
    • Computerization effort of all sectors of the county;
    • Providing advisory services to departments on all matters related to ICT;
    • Training on the use of computers, relevant software packages and developing customized applications;

    Requirements for Appointment
    For appointment to this position, an applicant must:

    • Kenyan citizenship;
    • A relevant Bachelor’s degree recognised in Kenya;
    • A Master’s degree will be an added advantage;

    Chief Officer Public Service (1) Post

    Requirements for Appointment
    For appointment to this position, an applicant must:

    • Be responsible to the county executive of Public service for overall Human Resource Management in the public service.
    • Implementation of County Executive Committee resolutions as guided by the Executive Committee Member.
    • Undertaking performance management functions including developing the performance contracts.
    • Advising the county executive on all matters pertaining to Human Resource Management in the Public Service;
    • Providing guidance on the overall Government policy direction on human resource management;
    • Liaising closely with the County Public Service board on human resource management issues;
    • Issuing administrative guidelines on the interpretation and implementation of labour laws and other Human Resource statutes as they relate to the public service;
    • Initiating development of draft Cabinet Memoranda/sessional papers on Human Resource Management Policy;
    • coordinating policy monitoring and evaluation;
    • Advising on collective bargaining and negotiation agreements with trade unions; and
    • Providing guidance on performance management and evaluation of heads of human resource in departments.
