    Credit Analyst

    What you will do:

    • Authenticate documentation presented for all credit applications. ​
    • Ensure compliance with the company’s credit rules & procedures.​
    • Appraisal of customer loan applications and making recommendations.
    • Ensure all applicants are advised on the fate of applications within a reasonable time​.
    • Active participation in Credit Committee​.
    • Analyze applicant’s financial status and credit histories to determine the feasibility of granting loans​.
    • Communicate all changes regarding the credit rules and procedures to the sales staff​.
    • Any other duty that may be assigned​.
    • To evaluate, review and approve boda boda credit applications to determine if borrowers meet the set criteria as per the rules.  
    • To ensure that credit appraisals and all documentation are properly collected, processed and filed as required 
    • To ensure prompt feedback and closure of all boda boda credit applications 
    • To ensure loan facilities are released on time 
    • Establishing a risk management culture that promotes good analysis, judgment, flexibility and a balance between risk and reward 

    What you will need:

    • Diploma/ Degree in B.com- Finance option or related field.​
    • 2+ experience as a Credit Analyst.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.​
    • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.​
    • Excellent knowledge of record-keeping.​
    • Ability to adapt quickly and work independently.​
    • Fluent in English and Swahili.​

    Regional Sales Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Recruit, properly onboard and retain quality direct sales agents.
    • Train Checkoff sales team leads on how to recruit quality sales agents.
    • Ensure recruited agents are well trained (understands MOGO products, know how to submit leads).
    • Ensure agents have all necessary tools to perform their duties efficiently & effectively. (Business cards, fliers).
    • Guide the team on how to come up with a clear well targeted sales activation plan.
    • Acting as main contact point for agents for general enquires regarding Mogo, training, materials, motivation, commissions, etc.
    •  Design activation calendar for sales and marketing and ensure its duly followed. Example: Door to door visit to institutions & government offices.
    • Aligning the marketing message (selling points) with each member of the team and employers product champions (HRs).
    • Searching and onboarding new institutions + building great relationship with partner institutions.
    • Train partner institutions on how make applications and more about Check-Off products.
    • Evaluate market trends, gather competitor information, identify trends that affects future growth of check-off loans.
    • Provide feedback from the field to management (raise issues, give suggestions, fix things yourself).

    What you will need:

    Qualifications:

    •  Educational Background: A Diploma or bachelor’s degree Economics/Commerce or a related field from a recognized university.
    •  Experience: Minimum of FIVE years of experience working with check-off loans, either in sales or Business Development.
