    Sales Manager - Medical Products (Non - Pharma)

    Job Summary:

    The Medical Products Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives, ensuring the successful promotion and sales of medical devices within a designated territory. This role involves setting sales goals, implementing strategies, and providing leadership to achieve revenue targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Team Management:
      • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives.
      • Provide ongoing coaching and support to help the team achieve their sales targets.
      • Set performance goals, monitor progress, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
    • Sales Strategy and Planning:
      • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
      • Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
      • Allocate resources effectively to maximize sales performance.
    • Territory Management:
      • Assign territories to sales representatives and ensure optimal coverage.
      • Manage geographic and account segmentation for efficient market penetration.
    • Customer Relationships:
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, institutions, and decision-makers.
      • Resolve customer issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Product Knowledge:
      • Stay updated on product knowledge, features, and benefits of the medical devices.
      • Ensure the sales team is well-informed and capable of presenting the products effectively.
    • Reporting and Analysis:
      • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
      • Prepare regular sales reports for upper management.
    • Budget Management:
      • Manage the sales budget, including expenses, promotional activities, and resource allocation.
    • Sales Training:
      • Provide training and continuous development opportunities to the sales team.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, life sciences, etc.).
    • Proven experience in medical products sales, including successful sales management.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to travel as needed to visit clients and attend conferences or trade shows.

    Soft Skills

    The ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team, combined with a strong understanding of the medical device industry, is essential for success in this role.

    Job Objective.

    Our client is a well-established and renowned packaging company, seeking to hire a Sales Manager with proven ability to successfully lead a team towards achieving and surpassing the set goals

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing the market sales strategy, setting sales quotas and goals, managing and developing sales teams to execute the sales and profit objectives strategies for the company

    Roles & Responsibilities.

    • Managing the sales teams performance, including coaching them on effective sales techniques, providing feedback to improve performance and recruiting.
    • Identifying opportunities to increase sales through existing products or services by researching new markets for existing products or identifying new product opportunities
    • Communicating with Director about sales goals and progress towards those goals
    • Reporting to Director in a regular basis of the achievement weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearend business review
    • Developing and implementing marketing plans that include advertising campaigns, public relations efforts, and events to promote products or services
    • Maintaining relationships with existing customers by providing them with information about new products or services that may interest them
    • Reviewing sales reports to determine if any changes need to be made to the sales process

    Minimum Qualifications.

    • Hold Bachelors degree in Sales or related field.
    • At least Five (5) years inexperience working in a similar role handling similar products is an added advantage
    • Have existing industry network and clientele base learner that can work with minimum supervision.
    • Proven experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
    • Experience in customer relationship management
