    Internal Audit Officer

    Job Summary

    Job Purpose: The job holder will be required to provide independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes to add value and improve organization's operations.

    Responsibilities
    Key Responsibilities

    • Contribute in conducting risk assessment for and planning for assigned audit assignments.
    • Provide assurance on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment, risk management and compliance to LKL policies and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Support with carrying out IT audits.
    • Identify controls and process weaknesses, identify the root causes and issue practical recommendations to address the observed control weaknesses.
    • Review and evaluate the system of internal controls and assess their adequacy and effectiveness in managing risk and propose value adding recommendations for improvements.
    • Provide assurance that organization's objectives and goals will be achieved efficiently and effectively.
    • Maintain respectful and effective communication and relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Present to the area management the results, recommendations and conclusions of the audit reviews.
    • Analyze operational and management processes and system controls effectiveness and efficiency in view to improve them and propose value adding recommendations.
    • Document the results of audit work in accordance with internal audit guidelines and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.

    Required Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) 
    Personal attributes

    • Appreciation of Banking regulatory framework and internal policies.
    • Knowledge of Internal Auditing Standards.
    • Proficiency in the use of audit management software e.g.   Analytical tools and TeamMate etc. 
    • Appreciation of the Bank's Credit and Treasury products and services. Demonstrated leadership ability capacity.
    • Superior communication and inter-personal skills, including sound report writing and presentation skills.
    • Effective planning, organizing and problem solving skills.
    • Initiative and self-drive.
    • Able to work under minimal supervision.

    Requirements
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or Business Related field from a university recognized by Commission for University Education.
    • Possession of professional qualifications such as CIA, CPA or ACCA a must.
    • CISA qualification is an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in the use of audit management software such as Team Mate.

    Experience:

    • A minimum 2 years' experience in external audit or internal audit in financial services industry with hands on experience in auditing business units and I.T, credit process, digital products and regulatory compliance.
    • Detail-oriented, organized and good time manager with excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong Business acumen and Data Analytics skills.

    Relationship Officer

    Job Summary

    Main Purpose (Why does the job exist) To be responsible for providing product sales and service to the target groups as defined in the business strategy.

    Critical Deliverables /Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

    • Grow subsidiaries business growth through implementation of the branch sales strategy.
    • Process quality loans by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
    • Prepare monthly sales report
    • Build relationships with the relevant stakeholder to grow Letshego’s business.
    • Sells the subsidiaries sales and products through digital channels
    • Offer excellent customer service to retain the customer base.
    • Identifies opportunities for process improvement by gauging customer reactions to processes and policies.

    Requirements
    Education

    •  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration/ Economics or similar field

    Experience

    •  At least 2 years’ experience in a high ranking Sales and Product financial institution

    Knowledge

    •  Strong understanding of customer insights and analytics
    •  Understanding product and customer lifecycle and management

    Skills

    •  Integrity and ethical standards
    •  Excellent communication skills
    •  Organisational and planning skills
    •  Analytical skills, good judgment and decision-making ability to interpret businesses’ sales performance and market information.

    Head of Sales and Distribution

    Job Summary

    To drive the business development and sales execution through country channels and identifying objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short and long term sales and earnings

    Responsibilities
    Critical Deliverables /Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

    • Provides in-country leadership in transforming product ideas from their most formidable stages into actionable concepts, timelines, and projects while maintaining a serious consideration of the business's financial implications and overall objectives.
    • Spearheads the country's sales and distribution strategy and execution, creates and manages a process that drives toward a scalable product portfolio that will drive its product profitability.
    • Ensures a continuous improvement in the product and its compliance with market needs wrapped in a product experience that continuously and consistently delights the consumers.
    • Ensures evaluation of market trends, product industry, competition strategies and make recommendations on product pricing and positioning.
    • Liaise with the functions of product design, product maintenance, and product improvement, ensuring that the product resonates with the consumers and, therefore, boosting the product appeal to the consumers and increasing the consumer base and sales volume.
    • Ensures analysis of the performance of the various product to establish product differentiation and execution strategies that will lead to the product's ultimate success
    • Oversees the profitability of products 
    • Ensures all digital channels are regularly maintained.
    • Implement the strategies and policies approved by the Board, develop processes that adequately identify, measure, monitor and control Risks faced by the institution.
