- Should have earned a Ph.D. degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional qualification of five (5) years. Served at the level of Senior Lecturer or above if from an academic background.

Duties & Responsibilities
- To assist the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration, Planning and Finance) in the general administration and planning in the University;
- To advise and coordinate the functions of all Heads of Departments or Sections within the Administration and Planning Division such as Human Resources, Central Services, Recruitment and Training;
- To coordinate and collect evidence for performance targets and preparation of the Division's Performance Contract quarterly reports;
- To serve as Secretary to the University Management Board;
- To assist in the coordination, formulation and implementation of Human Resource Policies relating to Staff Training, Recruitment, Staff Evaluation,
- Staff Benefits, Labor Relations, Staff Conduct and Discipline, Job Descriptions, Scheme of Service, and Union matters in collaboration with Heads of Departments or Sections concerned;
- To coordinate fleet planning and control transport services including vehicle allocation, insurance, maintenance and servicing;
- To communicate, follow-up and implement decisions of Management Board;
- To coordinate and monitor physical infrastructure planning and development, maintenance, and repair of existing facilities;
- To work closely with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration, Planning and Finance) in ensuring that the Planning and Development Departments operate effectively and efficiently and are in line with the University and Government policies;
- To obtain feedback from key stakeholders such as students, staff, alumni, research partners, public and private sector on satisfaction levels, service standards and educational needs;
- To generate comparative data on institutional performance in other Universities and Colleges within the region and globally for the purposes of facilitating benchmarking of performance;
- To coordinate the preparation, review and implementation of the Strategic Plan;
- To coordinate, implement and prepare project plans and management reports;
- To coordinate implementation of Performance Contracting, ISO and Quality Management System; and
- Be responsible for the allocation of buildings, rooms and offices in the University as well as the formulation of the rules governing their allocation and utilization.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Implementing and reviewing University’s compensation program.
- Creating and reviewing job descriptions.
- Conducting annual salary surveys.
- Developing, analyzing and updating the University’s salary budget.
- Developing, revising and recommending staff policies and procedures.
- Maintaining and revising the Universities handbook on policies and procedures.
- Performing benefits administration.
- Overseeing exit interviews.
- Maintaining Affirmative Action Programs.
- Maintaining department’s records and reports.
- Participating in administrative staff meetings.
- Maintaining the University’s directory and other charts.
- Recommending new policies, approaches and procedures.
- Communicate to staff any information from the University Management Board.
- Provide secretariat services to the Division’s main committee on a regular basis so as to operationalize the meetings and ensure proper documentation of all deliberations for future reference.
- Coordinate the periodic collection of evidence used in gauging achievement of performance targets within the Department for use in decision making on how to enhance performance.
- Identify any training needs among staff members in the Department and make necessary intervention for the same.

- An earned Master's degree in Information Science/ Library Science and served as a Deputy Head of University Library for three (3) years as Senior Librarian Grade 13 or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities.
- Overall planning, administration and management of Library service.
- Developing, implementing and monitoring policies, strategies, procedures and work plans.
- Manage selection, acquisition, organization and dissemination of Library resources and services.
- Promotion and marketing of Library services.
- Developing services for physically and visually impaired.
- Ensuring that the Library meets the needs of precise groups of users including Post Graduate Students and Persons Living with Disability.
- Ensuring different Library systems and services function effectively.
- Participation in capacity building and mentorship of Library staff.
- Working in collaboration with schools to develop and implement Information Literacy Program.

- Must have an earned PhD degree in Information in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field from a recognized institution, with nine (9) years of experience in a relevant field three (3) of which must be at (Grade 13 or equivalent)

- Must have an earned Master’s degree in Computer Studies/Sciences/Information Technology or related field from a recognized institution with twelve (12) years experience in a relevant field, three (3) of which at Grade 13.
- Registration with a professional body and relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop system algorithms and models used in designing ICT systems for the University to ensure they fully capture the needs of the intended users of the system.
- Coordinate protocol types for the network systems for effective implementation of specific operation supported by the specific procedures.
- Coordinate the development of ICT infrastructural implementation plans for the University to ensure the intended output is relevant and necessary implementation steps are well prioritized.
- Ensure optimum system security application in all areas.
- Ensure there is compliance of software licensing laws.
- Coordinates the preparation of contracts between the University and other entities on matters pertaining to ICT.
- Ensure disposal action is promptly carried out.
- Prepare Service budget, procurement plan, performance targets and work plan.
- Prepare ICT project handover reports to inform on the success of the project objectives as well as provide a user manual for the new ICT upgrades for guiding users.

- Maintain and regularly update the assets register for all assets in the Department for accountability purposes.

- Ensure food is properly cooked.
- Responsible for proper service of food to the students.
- Ensure proper hygiene is observed in the kitchen and the mess.
- Prepares and presents the food to the serving staff.
- Ensure that all kitchen appliances are properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Responsible for constantly checking at the service counter, cocoordinating with the cooks on replenish of cooked food to ensure smooth running of operations in the kitchen area.

- Provide counseling services to University Students.
- Organize the students’ orientation exercise to familiarize them with counseling services at the University.
