    Mobile Application Software Engineer Job Responsibilities

    • Build new and engaging native mobile applications using the Android SDK
    • Work with UI/UX designers and fellow engineers to build enterprise mobile solutions

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

    Requirements for the Mobile Application Software Engineer Job

    • A grade of B+ and above in KCSE (or equivalent) with good grades in math and languages
      Computer Science (or related) degree with a minimum of upper second-class honors
    • At least one-year coding experience working on production mobile applications. Experience in developing in the financial services industry is an added advantage
    • Demonstrable experience in developing Android applications in Java/Kotlin. Knowledge and experience of iOS (Swift) is an added advantage
    • Solid understanding of popular programming paradigms (object orientation & functional programming), data structures and algorithms
    • Proficient understanding of version control systems (GIT)
    • Ability to work long hours to complete requirements
    • A passion for computing and software and engaging learning experiences, as well as desire to make a difference in a highly productive environment
    • Desire to use technology to develop innovative solutions that solve real world problems

    Legal Internships

    Responsibilities for the Legal Internships

    • Assisting on all matters regarding the law; including the interpretation, impact and effect of the relevant laws and general conditions affecting various areas of the company’s operations
    • Assisting in the co-ordination of legal due diligence, documentation and closing of transactions
    • Assisting in reviewing investment and real estate applications for Compliance purpose
    • Assisting in Negotiating, drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts
    • Assisting by liaising with external lawyers on conduct of court matters.

    Legal Internships Requirements

    • An Upper Second Bachelor of Laws degree (LL. B) from a recognized University

    QS Associate

    The successful candidate will have the privilege of working with a highly experienced team in both local and global markets and has the opportunity for growth within the company.

    Responsibilities for the QS Associate Job

    • Providing early cost advise for various projects including preparation of cost plans
    • Actively work with the Project Management office to develop and implement cost controls for all projects
    • Preparation of Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
    • Reviewing Bills of Quantities and drawings prepared by external consultants for the various projects and advising on their adequacy for effective project implementation
    • Advising on the most appropriate form of contract to adopt for various projects
    • Reviewing all interim Valuations, Variations, Financial appraisals and Final accounts for various projects
    • Reviewing and valuing all construction claims submitted by contractors
    • Maintaining and regularly updating a construction/development cost data base for the company
    • Attending site meetings and inspections
    • Any other duties as may be allocated from time to time

    QS Associate Job Requirements

    • Applicants for this position must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Economics or Quantity Surveying
    • Must be registered with BORAQS with at least 3 years post registration experience
    • Membership with relevant professional bodies like IQSK and AAK will be an added advantage
    • Be conversant with Microsoft Office and other relevant computer based costing and design packages
    • Thorough understanding of the standard forms of contract currently used within the Building and Civil
    • Engineering industry with particular emphasis on JBC and FIDIC conditions of contract
    • Have strong numeracy, financial management and negotiation skills.
    • Demonstrate ability to write clear and precise reports and to disseminate complex information in a simple way to a diverse range of consumers
    • Possess business etiquette with a strong work ethic, high level of integrity, results oriented, and ability to deliver under pressure
