    Junior UX Designer


    Job Description

    We are looking for a Junior UX Designer to support our software design and development team in production of interaction design and information architecture deliverables (flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, etc.). You will take part in brainstorming, ideation, and sketching activities throughout projects as well as planning and conducting user research and testing.

    To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.

    Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us improve our applications.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Work with the UI and Service Designers to optimise products and services for a range of client touch points
    • Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure all designs meet client and user requirements
    • Analyse all research and feedback to gain user insight – and incorporate this feedback into new designs
    • Assist in the production of wireframes, prototypes, concept sketches, interaction designs and user flows using key tools such as XD, Sketch, Balsamiq and InVision
    • Help to create clean and simple user-centred designs
    • Work with developers and designers to build user-friendly web and mobile apps
    • Assist the Design lead in creating design rationale and specifications
    • Any other duties as may be prescribed from time to time

    Business Systems Analysis Internships


    Job Description

    Our Business Systems Analyst Intern will be primarily responsible for stakeholder management, requirements gathering and analysis, documentation, process mapping, training users on systems and performing best practices research to improve existing solutions and identify new solutions.

    They will also be incharge of analyzing the organizations processes and prescribing areas that needs process improvement, re-engineering or automation.


    • Analysis of system requirements and preparation of software requirements documentation after careful elicitation and analysis of clients’ needs and business processes.
    • Continuously evaluating procedures and processes and Identifying opportunities for improving business processes through information systems or process improvement.
    • Mapping out all business and system processes, to achieve operational efficiency and smooth process flow.

    IT Service Management Engineer

Cytonn Technologies is a respected technology solutions provider that offers innovative, differentiated and efficient technology products and support, web-based solutions and integrated business solutions.

    The IT Service Management Engineer is responsible for system maintenance, upgrades, user management, fulfillment of administrative tasks, and performing upkeep of existing solutions. This role will benefit the company through improved quality, productivity, efficiency, and customer experience.  Will monitor and report on the effectiveness of IT services, design and develop a plan to continually improve IT services at Cytonn.


    • Performs analysis and development of IT service management; (one or more) of Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Asset Management, Service Level Management, and Release Management systems, tools, processes, and databases.
    • Maintain and administer the services to insure compliance with configurations, patches and approved designs.
    • Analyzes emergent IT infrastructure service management requirements and engineers integrated system solutions to optimize the service management systems.
    • Develops and implements custom solutions using programming/scripts for efficient operation of service management systems.
    • Installs, customizes, and integrates IT service management systems and tools, ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of those systems.
    • Provides training to other IT personnel on the correct and efficient use of implemented systems and reports.
    • Perform the service management processes and procedures required for accurate and timely data and reports.
    • May serve as a work leader, in a non-supervisory leadership position, having job-related responsibilities to lead project assignments in a broad or specialty area.
    • Advise teams on design, development and overall best practice configuration of IT systems
    • Maintain dashboards and report on KPIs & metrics in Service Management Performance
    • Document/Maintain functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business use cases
    • Assist the process for reviewing and improving policies and procedures to support an ITSM/ITIL framework
    • Leverage business analysis knowledge to drive business process improvements
    • Work with various departments to implement the latest capabilities of the various IT solutions
    • Work with Systems Engineers and Administrators to define integrations and perform integrations and process automation using Orchestration, REST and SOAP web services
    • Create ITSM Governance standards and ensure that all changes to reporting, processes, and procedures are reflected

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
    • ITIL Service qualifications (Desirable)

    • Experience supporting IT infrastructure and service delivery, preferably with a medium size organisation
    • Good understanding of Server & desktop hardware/ operating systems, networks, firewalls and load balancers, telecoms, etc.
    • A probing and analytical approach with the ability to pre-empt potential problems and identify inefficiencies

    Unit Manager-Nairobi


    In order to better service our clients, we are looking for highly motivated, self-driven, team players to work on full-time basis with the distribution team as unit managers in Nairobi. The Unit Manger will report to the Distribution Manager and work jointly with the Financial Advisors on strategic plans and initiatives to increase relationship productivity and develop proper contact networks within the channel partners.
