Job Description
- Primary focus is to prepare and bake breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, scones, and desserts for all F&B operations
- Ensure that station opening and closing procedures are carried out to standard
- Clean and maintain station and overall Pastry kitchen through practicing good safety and following all sanitation and food production procedures and codes
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications, following special dietary instructions where required
- Assist in training culinary skills to Commis and trainees
- Help in menu creation
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with ordering
- Assist with the enforcement of Health & Safety protocols
Qualifications
- Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
- 2 years of large-volume baking/pastry experience
- Experience and proficiency in both small and large scale baking operations
- High standards for quality and presentation
- Creative and keen on details
