ICT Assistant at Drop Access Limited

Role Objective

• We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy ICT Assistant to support the day-to-day IT operations of the organization. This role is ideal for a candidate with solid troubleshooting skills, user support experience and working knowledge of ERP systems. The role offers exposure to cybersecurity, networking and IoT-integrated platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for users experiencing hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Support the setup and configuration of computers, printers and peripheral devices.
• Assist with basic ERP support tasks such as user access, data entry issues and system navigation.
• Monitor network performance and report connectivity or access concerns.
• Help ensure antivirus and basic cybersecurity protocols are in place and up to date.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and assist in tracking repairs or replacements.
• Provide orientation to new staff on ICT tools and policies.
• Any other responsibility as assigned by the organization.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in ICT support or helpdesk roles within ICT-intensive workplaces.
• Exposure to ERP platforms (for example Odoo, SAP, Dynamics) at the user or support level.
• Certification in IT support, networking, or cybersecurity (CompTIA A+, CISCO or similar) would be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Windows OS and LAN/WAN concepts
• Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset
