    Marketing Manager

    Job Purpose:

    The marketing manager will be responsible for developing long-term marketing strategies and executing campaigns for a diverse range of products and industries to support our growth strategy. This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary, and dynamic position, requiring close collaboration with the Business Teams, Product Team, and other Marketing functions. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, technology marketing, and the use of technology in marketing. They prefer to work in an environment that emphasizes ownership of campaigns, collaboration, learning, curiosity, and a drive to continually improve oneself / the team / the organization. They love to problem solve, get hands-on, experiment, measure, and use automation to make daily life easier

    Key Responsibilities

    Corporate Brand

    • Manage the company’s Brand across the product Portfolio (Brand Custodian)
    • Plan and execute the brand look and feel to ensure consistency throughout the company’s product portfolio.
    • Implement and align the advertising strategy to the brand, positioning, messaging, naming, and collateral for new and existing products and services.
    • Direct media strategies and execution of plans thereof to ensure the right Brand messages and understanding of the company’s products and services by customers and other stakeholders.
    • Planning and executing periodic customer surveys to develop insights for business growth.
    • Develop and implement brand and advertising strategy, positioning, messaging, naming, and collateral for new and existing products and services.

    Strategy Formulation

    • Define, design, develop, and implement marketing strategies, to drive brand awareness, customer preference &loyalty, and corporate revenues via omnichannel within the assigned territory.
    • Work with stakeholders to establish marketing growth strategies to support the assigned revenue goals.
    • Work with stakeholders to plan strategic brand initiatives aligned to the corporate strategy, within the assigned region.
    • Evaluate market trends and competitor intelligence across various platforms to ensure strategies are aligned with market conditions.
    • Report in writing the performance of the various campaigns and their impact on the bottom line. (M&E).

    Products

    • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas, and/or product or packaging changes.
    • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's products to competitors' products.
    • Obtains product market share by working with the teams to develop product communication strategies.
    • Manages and executes new route launches by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
    • Work with the Company’s senior leadership and product/service management teams to define, launch and drive the company’s next-generation product solutions targeting various consumer segments. Corporate Marketing
    • Plan and monitor campaign and channel performance with the aid of tracking tools and propose relevant actions to ensure assigned objectives are met.
    • Ensure effective cross-selling of other company’s products within campaigns, in the assigned region.
    • Monitor day-to-day in-marketing campaigns, ensuring the team is aligned with the brand guidelines, processes, and timelines and providing regular tracking and reporting.

    Budgetary Control

    • Develop annual Brand & Sustainability cost budgets.
    • Monitor and control the individual cost center budget.
    • Seek partnerships that will ensure efficient budgetary utilization.
    • Prepare and implement brand/advertising budgets as well as monitor to ensure expenditure is in line with the company business plan.
    • Brand management & visibility across retail network-wide
    • Corporate Event Management - leverage to communicate the brand
    • Corporate Partnerships management

    Desired Skills & Qualification

    • University graduate preferably in Marketing or a relevant business-related degree
    • Experience in a dynamic Market environment
    • At least 1- 2 years of experience managing a Kenyan brand's social media channels
    • At least 2 years of experience with Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
    • Membership/Certification– Relevant marketing bodies
