    Corporate Sales Dealer

    The Position:

    Reporting to the Head of Treasury Sales, the role holder will generate Treasury income from Corporate clients, increase portfolio size in the various Corporate sectors and retain sales.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive Treasury revenue through working closely with the Corporate, Institutional &Investment Banking Division to coordinate Foreign Exchange Solutions.
    • To actively market defined products offering i.e., Spot FX, Forwards and Swaps to Corporate and Institutional clients.
    • Drive Segmented Sales & provide custom made solutions to specific clients &sectors.
    • Virtual and physical customer calls to drive sales.
    • Organize and plan both prospective client calls to manage relationships.
    • Manage and ensure booking of forex transactions through the Bank’s core banking system / K plus.
    • Advise staff on matters pertaining to FX Operations & best practice
    • Monitor trends and actively identify potential areas of revenue growth.
    • Relay any important information/news to relevant parties promptly to manage risk and maximize gains.
    • Ensure compliance to internal and statutory requirements.

    Daily Responsibilities:

    • Drive and monitor performance of sectors under management.
    • Direct sales and marketing through telephone calls with existing clients and new prospects.
    • Manage existing clients’ expectations in regard to foreign exchange and other related services
    • Make physical visits to both existing and prospective customers
    • Manage and input entries as a result of foreign exchange transactions

    Job Requirements:

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in preferably a Business field from an Institution recognized by Commission of University Education.
    • Possession of ACI Dealing certification is a requirement
    • At least Three (3) years’ experience in busy Dealing room with below responsibilities:
    • Treasury Sales and Relationship Management
    • Risk management solutions - Forwards and Swaps.
    • Experience in using FX trading platforms (Reuters & Bloomberg).
    • Commercial awareness with thorough understanding of local and global market regulations applicable to foreign exchange.
    • Good understanding of various limits that apply to FX Trading and knowledge of risk management and its application to financial markets.
    • Thorough Knowledge of the end-to-end processes of Treasury products and services
    • Should have excellent high quality interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to network and strong business relations.
    • Should be innovative in identifying developing and harnessing new and existing opportunities to maximize business revenue.

    Porfolio Manager, Cards

    The Position:

    Card Business Unit is responsible for Business Development, roll-out and Sales of Card products that range from Pre-paid, Debit and Credit Cards including the implementation of usage strategies that generate revenues for the Bank.

    The role holder will be responsible for the growth and support of the Issuing Card Business portfolio in line with Bank Card Business strategy

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver reports (MI) consistently on card portfolio performance and trends and advise business
    • Seek and implement new revenue streams and maintain updated issuing tariffs to ensure exhaustive collection of revenues
    • Conduct monthly pro-active limit increase to credit card base
    • Implement tactical plans to achieve increased usage of all cards at POS
    • Ensure there are no unauthorised entries into the issuing books of account
    • Manage Issuing related losses and write-offs
    • Drive all issuing productivity projects that include, GL reconciliation, activity monitoring, system limit set ups and enhancements, authorization.
    • Manage relationship with Internal Stakeholders including IT, Finance, Credit, Project Management team and Contact centre.
    • Manage process changes, processes and procedures, Card policy development and implementation
    • Manage the card Portfolio team and people development
    • Gathering of market intelligence for improvement of existing product offering
    • Develop key metrics and conduct ROI analysis as needed to ensure that value is obtained from the business.
    • Drive all Card issuing projects to ensure timely implementation and shorten go-to-market duration

    Job Requirements:

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business from an institution recognized by CUE.
    • Professional qualifications in Banking will be an added advantage
    • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a Card Issuing role
    • 4 years’ experience in Card Operations with at least 2 years performing in Card Sales and Card Portfolio management covering product development responsibilities
    • Must have 4 years’ experience in a Visa & Mastercard Operations role
    • Strong competencies in financial analysis and report writing skills is essential
    • Excellent interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to network, generate new business and develop strong business relations.

    Solution Architect

    The Position:

    Reporting to the Senior Manager Solution Architecture, the role holder will be responsible for the Enterprise Architecture (technical, systems, business & information architecture) of Technology systems used by or to be procured by the Bank.

    He/She will ensure that all Technology Systems are aligned to the Enterprise Architecture Framework, Bank policy and best practice. In addition, he/she will be responsible for solution-level reviews, recommendations, and analysis of their impact on the overall business goals and outcomes.

    The holder of this position leverages their profound knowledge of available technologies to suggest the best solution according to the incoming requirements and existing environment. The key deliverable of this role is to provide a set of technological solutions and the strategy of their implementation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analysing enterprise specifics - Facilitate the identification and analysis of the Bank’s business drivers to deliver enterprise business, information, technical and solution architecture requirements.
    • Analysing and documenting requirements- Elicit business requirements using interviews, analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis.  
    • Setting the collaboration framework- Liaise with the Business subject matter experts in the development of business architectural framework developing a clear roadmap of Business solutions.
    • Analysing the technology environment- Provide an analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement vis a vis information technology systems enhancement.
    • Controlling solution development-Participate in solution developments to ensure technical and business requirements are adhered to.
    • Supporting project management- Provide architectural oversight of projects and ensure that requirements are in alignment with business strategies and business architecture roadmap/framework.
    • Leverage’s business capabilities as a platform for illustrating the link between business needs with decisions to their technology, solution, business, and information architecture efforts.
    • Translates strategic initiatives into delivery-focused change initiatives, while translating business processes and issues into effective conceptual and logical models.
    • Build and maintain repository for deliverables, methodologies, and business development documents.
    • Ability to independently facilitate discussions with groups of diverse stakeholders and manage the flow of conversation while driving to meet business objectives.
    • Ability to independently manage conflict among diverse cross portfolio stakeholders related to competing interests and requirements.
    • Able to help stakeholders objectively examine real needs versus wants and ways to collaborate to achieve win/win resolutions.

    The Person:  

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field of study.
    • At least one professional qualifications in the following list: CBAP, TOGAF, ITIL Foundation, Design Thinking, and Innovation; Project Management - PRINCE II.
    • 5 years technology experience in at least two IT disciplines such as business architecture, application architecture, application development, middleware, micro services, and SOA.
    • Experience working with Database Management Systems.

    Manager, ITIL Processes

    The Position:

    Technology Service Delivery is responsible for managing the delivery, performance, supply chain of IT services and enterprise applications to provide the required level of service, system performance and functionality required to meet business objectives and customer (internal/external) expectations.

    The ITIL Processes Manager shall be responsible for the operational management of ITIL Processes implementation including planning and coordination of all activities required to carry out, monitor and report on the ITIL processes. The individual shall be responsible for the IT service management tool and shall ensure that service levels are achieved in line with SLAs. He /She shall also be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the monitoring team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure Proper I.T service delivery through T Incident Management, Service request management and event management
    • Be accountable for the following processes – Incident Management, Service Request, Catalog management, Knowledge Management and Business reporting
    • Coordinate enhancements and ensure the accessibility of the ITSM tool within the organization
    • Plan and coordinate new deployments which include support processes and documentation
    • Manage day to day Service Level Management needs for IT working closely with project managers, head office SLA liaisons and branch clients to ensure service levels are met and exceeded.
    • Manage the framework for describing services in an IT Service Catalogue, ensure the service catalogue is updated as services are created, maintain up to date service tiering.
    • Coordinate the Monitoring and incident management team and come up with Intelligent reports and trends for Management
    • Continually review and design improvements to processes, services, and infrastructure to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and cost effectiveness.
    • Identify areas of automation in System and Service monitoring.

    The Person:  

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • A Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology/ Computer Science or related field.
    • Certification in ITIL Foundation.
    • At least 5 years Technology experience with at least 4 years’ experience in Design and Formulation of ITIL Processes and Procedures.

    Business Architect

    The Position:

    The role holder is responsible for the Enterprise Architecture (IT technical systems, business & information architecture) used by or to be procured by the Bank. Ensure that all IT Systems are aligned to the Enterprise Architecture framework, Bank policy and best practice. Responsible for IT Governance which reviews all IT systems used by or to be procured to ensure they are aligned to the Bank and IT strategy, plans, policies, and standards.

    The business architect will be responsible for alignment of technology solutions to business needs through the analysis of business motivations, business operations and business models & frameworks. The Business Architect will work to develop an integrated view of the enterprise using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standards. 

    The successful person should demonstrate proficiency in developing IT business process models (automated, manual processes, system & process interfaces) and related documentation for IT Systems in use by or to be procured by the Bank in line with Bank policy, Business Process Architecture best practice, standards, and methods.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct business process improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiencies and effectiveness. 
    • Act as a liaison to Business and IT to gain a broad understanding of business initiatives and their impact on technology.
    • Documentation of business requirements and processes for all business initiatives and projects.
    • Provide the leadership in breaking down, planning, and sequencing the business vision & strategy into technology deliverables.
    • Liaise with the Business subject matter expert in the development of business architectural framework developing a clear roadmap of Business solutions.
    • Lead effort to work with business leaders to identify business capability needs and IT integration.
    • Facilitate the identification and analysis of the Bank’s business drivers to deliver enterprise business, information, technical and solution architecture requirements. 
    • Assess the current Business framework to detect critical deficiencies and recommend for improvement in line with the IT strategy and delivery priority of the IT/Bank programs.
    • Function as a liaison to Business and IT partners to gain a broad understanding of industry trends and innovations, and their impact on technology.
    • Provide an analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement vis a vis information technology systems enhancement.
    • Provide architectural oversight of projects; ensure requirements are in alignment with business strategies and business architecture roadmap/framework
    • Participate and guide on functional tests planning and execution.
    • Participate in the IT quality assurance process.

    The Person:  

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
    • At least one professional qualification in the following list: - CBAP, TOGAF, ITIL Foundation; Prince2.
    • 7 years progressive experience in Information Technology with at least 5 years’ experience in at least two IT disciplines such as Application Architecture, Application Development, Integration, Micro Services and Software Asset Management in a multitier environment.
    • Experience with Operating systems (Windows/ Unix) and Database Management S
    • Experience working in Business Analysis / Applications Architecture.
    • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to breakdown complex items to manageable components.
    • Experience and familiarity with graphical modelling approaches, tools, and model repositories.
    • Ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications on individual components and projects.
    • Ability to liaise with all levels of management and subject matter experts across the industry and within the organization.
