    Director, Academic Affairs - 1 Position

    Job Purpose

    • The Director, Academic Affairs is responsible to the Principal and Chief Executive Officer for all academic and training matters and administration of academic support departments. This position reports to the Principal and Chief Executive Officer.

    Job Specification
    The Director, Academic Affairs is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement and periodically review the strategic plan and departmental work plans for the smooth operations of academic affairs.
    • Plan, monitor and control budgets/expenditure for the to ensure effective and sustainable provision of services
    • Develop and review academic policies and curricula from time to time for all programs to ensure maintenance of high academic and professional standards

    Corporation Secretary and General Manager, Legal Services - 1 Post

    Job Purpose

    • The Corporation Secretary and General Manager, Legal Services provides Council Secretariat and Legal Services to Kenya Utalii College. This position reports to the College Council functionally and the Principal and Chief Executive Officer administratively.

    Job Specification

    • Assist the Secretary to the Council in providing secretariat services to the Council.
    • Provide guidance to the Council on their duties and responsibilities and on matters of governance.
    • Assist the Council in carrying out; Council induction and training,

    • Master’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field from a recognized institution
    • Bachelor’s Degree in, Information Systems, Business Information Technology, Computer Science or related form a recognized institution
    • Thirteen (13) years working experience five (5) of which must be in supervisory position
    • Certification in CISA, ITIL, and Project Management Certification e.g. PRINCE2
    • Supervisory Skills course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution.
    • Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
    • Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks
    • Demonstrated results in work performance.
    • Membership to a relevant professional body (where applicable).
    • Meets provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution
