    Solar Systems Trainer

    • Our client, a mission-driven social enterprise, is seeking a Solar Systems Trainer to lead technical training in solar PV installations and prepare women for successful careers in the renewable energy and construction sectors. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for a technically strong trainer who is passionate about practical learning, safety, and empowering the next generation of women technicians.

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Deliver high-quality practical and theoretical training in solar PV design, safety, installation & maintenance
    • Lead real-world site simulations and supervise trainees on live solar installation projects
    • Maintain and continuously improve training curricula aligned to NITA/KNEC and industry standards
    • Introduce innovation — such as AR/VR tools, sustainability practices, and job-site project planning
    • Mentor and coach trainees to build confidence, technical competence, and workplace readiness

    Ideal Qualifications & Profile:

    • Diploma or higher in Solar PV, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (T3 certification required)
    • 4+ years hands-on experience in solar installations and electrical wiring
    • Proven instruction, coaching, or apprenticeship supervision experience
    • Strong technical understanding of system design, safety protocols, troubleshooting & maintenance
    • Passionate about women’s empowerment, practical learning, and inclusive technical training environments
