    Finance Officer

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Commerce, Finance, Accounting or equivalent from a recognized University;
    • Certified Public Accountant II as a minimum or equivalent from a recognized institution;
    • Certificate in computer proficiency from a recognized institution;
    • At least one (1) year relevant work experience;
    • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
    • Fulfil the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution.

    Key Responsibilities

    KRA 1: Data

    • Participate in compilation of financial information on money received by RBA from various sources.
    • Assist senior officers to compile data on payments made by RBA to various payees.

    KRA 2: Accounting Systems

    • Work with others to develop/implement adequate internal controls.
    • Participate in issue/use of various accounting tools – payment vouchers, imprest warrants, cheque books, receipts, etc.

    KRA 3: Revenue

    • Assist to plan and revenue forecasting – such as budgets and proposals for funding of projects/programs.
    • Assist in receipting of revenue from various sources – exchequer issues, clients, and development partners.

    KRA 4: Expenditure

    • Work with senior officers to prepare payment documents on claims and payments to employees, suppliers, and statutory authorities.
    • Participate in organizing approval of payment documents, allocation of funds for the payments, and effecting the payments.
    • Participate in the preparation of financial reports and management reports

    KRA 5: Assets

    • Maintain the assets register and ensure regular updates
    • Work with others to tag assets and enter details in the assets management system.
    • Assist in computing assets depreciation and verify balances on each account.

    Executive Assistant

    Job Requirements

    1. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Business Management/Administration, Public Relations, Secretarial studies or equivalent from a recognized University;

    ICT Officer II

    Job Requirements

    1. Bachelor’s degree in ICT from a recognized University;
    2. Certification in Implementation of application development environments like PHP, NET framework, Java; SQL, SharePoint;
    3. Professional ICT Certification by Microsoft Dynamics NAV/SAP/Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent;

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work with seniors to develop and update ICT application systems.
    • Assist to customize computer programs to the various needs of users within RBA.
    • Participate in training the users on ICT applications developed

    KRA 3: Infrastructure

    • Assist to evaluate and recommend on suitability of ICT equipment.
    • Install ICT equipment and peripherals in order for them to operate together as a system.
    • Monitor tuning system performance, storage management, system security, print management, and capacity management and network connectivity.

    KRA 4: Maintenance

    • Assist to detect and act on faults on ICT equipment/systems.
    • Assist to organize the fixing or rectification of faulty equipment/systems.

    Driver II

    Job Requirements

    1. KCSE Mean Grade of D+ or equivalent;
    2. valid Class BCE Driving License free from any endorsements;
    3. Certificate of Occupational Trade Test Grade III for drivers;
    4. A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations;
    5. First-Aid certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology or any other recognized institution;

    • Drive official vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel within and outside Nairobi.

    Records Assistant II/I

    Job Requirements

    1.     • Undertake periodic inspections of materials or files in order to ensure correct placement, legibility, and proper condition.
    • Training of users on the filing and record management system including document folio procedures
    • Assist in development and review of a records management procedure manual
    • Appraisal of all non-current/closed records
    • Identification, listing, labelling and transfer of records for permanent preservation at KNADS
    • Obtain authority for destruction of valueless records from the Director of KNADS

    KRA 2: Scanning and Indexing

    • Sort out mail and scanning the same to ensure electronic record in the workflow
    • system
    • Manage the scanned mail to ensure security and timely attention and action on same
    • Develop accurate and consistent indexing of documents to ensure a reliable database and distribution of electronic data and information to users.
    • Regularly update database with latest data or information from schemes returns

    • Implement design concepts for promotional materials that includes posters, cards, calendars, diaries, t-shirts, amongst other;

    KRA 5: Outreach

    • Represent RBA in meetings, conferences, seminars and other forums.

    • Assist to formulate and implement teamwork activities for staff, the members of RBA Board of Directors.
