    • Coordinate promotion of national and public service values and principles within the County Public Service.

    Director Vocational Training

    Requirement for appointment

    • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Education or Technical Education from a recognized institution; OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Arts with a Post- Graduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution;
    • Masters’ Degree in relevant field will be added advantage
    • Seven (7) years’ experience, three (3) years of which must have been in a senior management level in an institution either in public or private sector
    • Management and leadership course of not less than four weeks from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
    • Successful applicant to meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Coordinate, initiate, formulate and implement policies at the Vocational Training Centres.
    • Train and advice on implementation of Vocational Training curricular and co-curricular activities to meet the set standards.
    • Oversee assessment of upcoming youth polytechnics capacity of registration as training institutions and examination centers.
    • Strengthen strategic partnerships and collaborations among stakeholders on revitalization, rehabilitation and promotion of Vocational Training.
    • Coordinate management and disbursement of Vocational tuition scheme and grants.
    • Build capacity in Vocational Training by conducting regular human resource planning.
    • Coordinate establishment of functional Boards of Management to manage Vocational Training.
    • Liaise with stakeholders on the domestication of the drawings and bills of quantities for infrastructure development.
    • Participate in monitoring and evaluation of Vocational Training programmes and projects.
    • Responsible for advising the Board of Management on prudent management of Vocational Training funds.
    • Coordinate the implementation of the departmental strategic plan, performance contracting and annual work plans; monitoring performance management; undertaking to budget.

    Senior Records Management Officer

    Requirement for appointment

    • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Records Management, Information
    • Science, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
    • Served in the in a comparable position for a minimum period of three (3) years;
    • Registered with the relevant professional body.
    • Proficiency in computer application skills; and

    Requirements for Appointment

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or any Social Sciences Degree from a recognized institution;

    Ethics and Governance Officer

    Requirement for appointment

    • Holder of Bachelors of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university;
    • Hold Post-graduate Diploma in Law from the Council of Legal Education;
    • Must be a member of the Law society of Kenya.
    • Knowledge of Labor laws and Industrial Relations.
    • Must be computer literate and able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism.

    • Monitor and implement the Board’s decisions on disciplinary and human resource matters.
    • Assist in the Investigation of disciplinary cases.
    • Follow up on implementation of OSHA, WIBA, Labor Relations Act 2007, Employment Act 2007 and Labor Institutions Act 2007.
    • Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
