    Public Relations and Communications Executive

    Job Purpose:

    The Public Relations and Communication Executive will be responsible for executing the PR corporate plan and managing the PR and communication activities while creating compelling visual and descriptive content for use in the brand’s marketing materials and channels for our premier authentic hospitality group in the region. The Public Relations and Communication Executive should be passionate about the hospitality industry, possess excellent communication skills and have a strong understanding of marketing trends and strategies and how best to reach our various audience through technologically efficient platforms and channels to maintain a positive reputation for the brand.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review and execute a robust public relations and communications strategy, to elevate the brand’s standing as the leading authentic hospitality group in the region keeping target audiences well informed i.e. business suppliers, customers (both internal and external), and diverse media partners.
    • Creation of visual and descriptive marketing content to promote the brand’s products/services o on available platforms or channels.
    • Managing the brand’s image in the public domain as per outlined guidelines
    • Reviewing existing marketing content to ensure that it is well placed to continue highlighting the unique selling points to enhance our competitiveness in the market.
    • Ensure sales and marketing collateral’s content is updated on an ongoing basis to include new products, developments, refurbishments etc.
    • Review the descriptive content on www.serenahotels.com.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive press coverage and media partnerships.
    • Handle media enquiries and coordinate media interviews with TPSEA Executives and Unit Managers
    • Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports on PR and communication activities' effectiveness and reach.
    • Develop content that highlights the group's unique features, amenities, and exceptional guest experiences to attract potential guests.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager, designers, and photographers to produce visually appealing content that aligns with the group's brand identity.
    • Ensure all Corporate communication and stationery aligns to the brand graphics manual.
    • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials to announce new initiatives, events, and special offers.
    • Monitor content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize content strategies.
    • Assist in organizing and promoting events, promotions, and special packages to attract guests and boost brand visibility.
    • Ensure effective PR campaigns that guard our reputation and have a positive return on investment.
    • Ensure PR and content creation costs are within budget.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or PR or related fields.
    • Minimum work experience of at least 3 years in the role as a content creator or in Public Relations within the hospitality industry or a luxury brand setting
    • Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
    • A portfolio of published articles.
    • Working knowledge in Content Management Systems.

    Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer

    Responsibilities:

    • Deals with daily administrative duties in the Chief Executive Officer’s office and completes a broad variety of administrative tasks that include composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential.
    • Assists and supports the Chief Executive Officer in preparing for meetings including preparing meeting materials, keeping track of follow up items, and preparing and revising correspondence and other documents, as necessary.
    • Works closely and effectively with the Chief Executive Officer to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and following up appropriately.
    • Keep abreast of ongoing projects and project actions that require the attention of the Chief Executive Officer
    • Keep abreast of and follow up of all outstanding actions and activities that require the Chief Executive Officer attention.
    • Maintain the Chief Executive Officer's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling business and personal meetings, as well as coordinating and arranging detailed travel plans and itineraries.
    • Handling correspondence for the Chief Executive Officer’s Office , and appropriately relay important information promptly, clearly while maintaining confidentiality needed in handling sensitive business matters.
    • To keep well-informed of all reports and correspondence sent to the Chief Executive Officer for follow up e.g. internal audit reports, operational and maintenance reports, project reports, financial and marketing reports.
    • The Executive Assistant will access the CEO’s emails and bring up emails that may need his immediate and urgent attention while keeping maximum confidentiality.
    • To maintain close working relationships with appropriate external Agencies and networks as directed.
    • Work closely with Executives, Unit and Country Managers on matters that may need the Chief Executive Officer's attention.
    • Coordinate errands as needed by the Chief Executive Officer for both business and personal reasons.
    • Preparation of Complimentary Vouchers in support of Charitable NGO's /Initiatives for the CEO’s Signature.
    • Work in collaboration with other Administration staff and or Executives staff on adhoc administrative tasks from time to time.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Administration or equivalent.
    • A minimum of 3 years office experience.
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and good working knowledge of PowerPoint.
    • Highly organized, self-motivated, highly confidential person and of high integrity.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to interact with people of all levels in a confident, professional manner.
    • Detail-oriented and good time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
    • Demonstrates ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent/sound judgment.
