    Business Development Manager - China Markets

    The successful candidate will be tasked with a duty develop Sales and improve the market share in cooperation with the commercial team and ensuring that the brand image and presentation.

    Location: Nairobi
    Reports: Reports to the Commercial Manager

    Business Development Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Establish and try to move product volumes, market share and profits within the region
    • Customer retention and development through regions business
    • Receive the commercial information for the network, broadcast them and make sure the actions are implemented
    • Feedback the commercial information to the network and make sure their considerations
    • Estimate the whole customer’s portfolio, prospects of his or her region
    • Estimate competitor’s prices in his or her region
    • Set up regional marketing strategy according to the strategic development area fixed by the sales management
    • Develop interactions and synergies with the Sales Management and operations in his/her region
    • Inform the Sales Manager Africa/ the regional managers on the commercial action taken, the scope and level of local management and performance
    • Extend scope of work where CIF are applicable
    • Prepare monthly sales reports highlighting on the sales efforts and present management

    Requirements for the Business Development Manager Job

    • Bachelor’s Degree graduate in business related field
    • 5 years sales experience at management level
    • Fluency in both English and Chinese a must

    Debt Collector

    The successful candidate will be charged with a task for locating customers and securing payment of charged-off accounts and qualifying accounts while maintaining good customer relations with borrowers and effectively solves problems in an effort to resolve account delinquency and prevent losses.

    Debt Collector Job Roles & Responsibilities

    • Possess investigative techniques and processes to identify the true reason for delinquency
    • Communicate clearly, concisely and effectively both verbally and written.
    • Prepare and/or process documents; review for accuracy and completeness; update information and/or evaluate against policy
    • Maintains up-to-date customer contact information in the collections systems.
    • Required to initiate external contact with customers and may perform advanced loss prevention activities
    • Understand and demonstrate the principles of the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values.
    • Contact customers via outbound/inbound phone calls and other means of communication to secure balance of debt by negotiating payment terms and methods.
    • Utilize various means of skip tracing to locate customers.
    • Record and update full and complete account information to aid in account resolution.
    • Negotiate re-payment with debtors by form of payment in full, settlements and / or payment arrangements.
    • Follow up on promise to pay and payment commitment accounts to ensure a positive resolution and client satisfaction.
    • Meet monthly collection targets as assigned by management.

    Minimum Qualifications for the Debt Collector Job

    • Degree in Business Related Studies
    • CPA Qualified
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in unsecured or sub-prime debt collections is preferred.
    • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
    • Strong written, verbal, active listening and phone communication skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.

    Camp Manager

    The manager will be a hands-on and involved in the day-to-day running of the camp, which may include carrying out reception duties or serving meals if the need arises.

    Camp Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Deliver excellent customer service, at all times, ensuring guests’ comfort and safety
    • Complete all daily administration tasks as required
    • Ensure that all tents and areas under your responsibility are checked thoroughly at the end of every shift, confirming that they meet our standards
    • Report any faults or damage in any of the tents or camp facilities immediately to the operations manager and maintenance manager
    • Monitor and oversee maintenance issues relevant to your area and liaise with third-party contractors as required
    • Complete regular checks on portable electrical appliances
    • Be accountable for all relevant product delivery and stock management (mainly, laundry, food items, cleaning materials and bedroom supplies), including setting stock levels, checking, counting, storage, reconciliation and loss investigation
    • Manage and maintain effective and efficient use of all operations equipment in line with company policy
    • Complete rotas for your team weekly; manage and maintain correct staffing levels in line with targets and business levels
    • Consult with Operations Manager and Human Resource Manager where unclear on how to proceed with staff morale and discipline
    • Complete all required health and safety/fire checks on time
    • Be responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point of contact for the team, guests and the emergency services
    • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
    • Inspects and documents repairs and cleanliness of property to ensure optimum upkeep and repair, room cleanliness and overall property appearance.
    • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations in consultation with the Operations Manager, HR & Corporate Affairs Manager and the Directors
    • Manages labor standards and property level expenses to achieve maximum flow through to the bottom line profit (unnecessary engagement of casuals et cetera).
    • Manages employee personnel forms, including performance evaluations, attendance records, leave days
    • Conducts coaching/counseling sessions; performance evaluations; prepares performance improvement plans, disciplinary documentation.
    • Ensures that employee related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with company policies.

    Qualifications for the Camp Manager Job

    • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management from a reputable institution
    • 5 years’ Management experience in high-end luxury Camps in remote Africa Bush land
    • Ability to work with the local community
    • Excellent guest relation and communication skills
    • Ability to handle Housekeeping, Front of House & the Kitchen
    • Highly motivated and result driven
    • Kenyan Citizens working in Tanzania / Uganda encouraged to apply
