    Supply Chain Management Officer

    (Grade 9)-HRA/SCM/02/2017

    Duties for the Supply Chain Management Officer Job

    • Supervision of officers below him/her;
    • Assisting in up-dating and interpretation of supply guidelines and regulations;
    • Implementing procurement and supplies regulations,
    • Identifying stores and equipment for disposal;
    • Preparing of periodic returns;
    • Preparing request for quotations, ;

    Responsibilities for the Senior Training Levy Inspector Job

    • Sensitizing and training of employers;
    • Collecting of levy;
    • Advising on status of employers;

    Director Finance & Levy Administration

    Director Finance & Levy Administration Job Responsibilities

    • Providing leadership, strategic direction and general oversight in the implementation of the Finance and Levy Administration activities in accordance with the Act, policies, procedures and regulations.
    • Providing guidance and advice to staff of the Directorate and the Authority in general on realization of National Industrial Training objectives and liaising with the Finance and Levy Administration committee of the Board on financial matters.

    Requirements for the Director Finance & Levy Administration Job

    • Have a Master’s degree in either MBA-Finance or Accounting option, MSc. Finance or Accounting option or any other related field from a recognized institution;
    • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, or Business Management specializing in Finance or Accounting or any other related field from a recognized institution;
    • Have attained full accounting qualifications (CPA (final),ACCA) or equivalent qualification;
    • Have at least fifteen (15) years’ relevant work experience five (5) of which must be in a Senior Management level. The fifteen (15) years relevant work experience in a State Owned Organization will be an added advantage;

    Senior Accountant

    (Grade 10) HRA/DFLA/04/2017

    Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant Job

    • Organizing and Managing of the accounting section;

    Chief Accountant

    (Grade 11)

    Reporting to the Manager Finance, the job holder will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of sound financial management and control systems in the Authority while ensuring compliance with the International Financial Rules and Regulation. The job holder will also be responsible for:

    Chief Accountant Job Responsibilities

    • Managing, updating and reviewing subsidiary ledgers and reconciling them to the general ledger;
    • Ensuring supplier and customer accounts are reconciled on monthly basis;
    • Ensuring proper Management of cash through implementation of controls;
    • Reviewing bank reconciliations on weekly basis;
    • Ensuring tax compliance in all operations;
    • Preparing annual statutory accounts and manage statutory audits as well as implement the agreed upon internal audit recommendations;
    • Analyzing customer credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risks involved;
    • Maintaining book of debtors, debt accounts and monitor payments and update records and periodically reconcile their accounts;
    • Reviewing individual or commercial customer files to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection and advising Management on creditors that need to be written off as bad debts and or deal with liquidators and collection agencies;
      Evaluating customer records and recommend payment plans based on earnings, savings data, payment history and purchase activity

    Requirements for the Chief Accountant Job

    Chief Internal Auditor

    Requirements for the Chief Internal Auditor Job

    • Developing annual audit plan;
    • Preparing documents for use in the Audit and Compliance Committee;
    • Undertaking special audit investigations as may be required from time to time;
    • Facilitating risk management exercises and ensures implementation of risk management frame work;
    • Interpretation of Authority’s policies for sound audit planning;

    • Be a registered member of ICPAK in good standing;
    • Have attended a Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution;
