    Software Engineer

    Software Engineer Job Responsibilities

    • Developing web applications (both front end and back end), ensuring user requirements are met
    • Designing database systems for web applications, ensuring efficient data storage and consistency
    • Writing reusable, testable and clean code
    • Maintaining web applications, ensuring uptime and dependability
    • Training and supervising junior developers and trainees, imparting skills and development discipline
    • Working with designers to ensure that web applications developed are intuitive and user friendly
    • Providing technical support to users when required

    Requirements for the Software Engineer Job

    • A grade of B+ and above in KCSE (or equivalent) with good grades in math and languages
    • Computer Science (or related) degree with a minimum of upper second-class honors
    • At least one-year experience developing in JavaScript and PHP
    • Advanced knowledge and experience with PHP. Knowledge of a modern PHP framework is an added advantage

    Sales & Marketing Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies
    • Monitoring the effectiveness of the various sales strategies and coming up with the changes as may be needed
    • Overseeing all communication, PR and promotional activities selected to support Cytonn Real Estate. This includes design, production, and distribution of print materials such as brochures, ads and direct response plus radio and television spots needed for broadcast campaigns
    • Seek to minimise marketing expenses, develop annual forecasts
    • Coordinating marketing and creative staff
    • Aid members of the real estate development team while coming up with strong concept for ease of exit
    • Proactively seeking ways to streamline daily marketing processes and procedures
    • Be part of concept development in relation to the market and sales trends, consumer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits in the real estate industry
    • Assist conducting research using comparable properties in the market
    • Actively seeking out new clients, monitoring sales and following through for target achievement
    • Evaluation of potential sales offers

    Procurement Manager Job Responsibilities

    • To be the in-house procurement expert, providing advice and guidance to colleagues on all procurement matters and managing higher value procurement directly
    • To be responsible for the issuance, update and control of the company’s procurement policy and procedures
    • To be responsible for the formulation of procurement strategies
    • Deliver and monitor compelling analysis and insights that inform management of the results of the company’s procurement activities to inform strategic decision making

    • Understanding the scope of supply and customer contract agreements, performing risk analysis and preparing for negotiations with suppliers and identifying supply chain risks and monitoring the market forces related to supply chain during the project execution to avoid potential issues/risks
    • Present overall supply chain status to Management within organization, including status of Engineering release, RFQ status, Purchase Order Status
    • Managing resources within supply chain to cover workload peaks during project ramp ups in collaboration with the Project Manager
    • Where applicable be responsible for inventory management
    • Any other duty as may be asigned from time to time
