    Systems Officer

    Grade: ANU 8

    Department: Institute of Open, Distance and e-Learning

    Location / Work Station: Main Campus

    Reporting Relationships

    Reports to: Director, Institute of Open, Distance and e-Learning

    Direct Reports: None

    Job Purpose: Responsible for providing system support for the Institute of Open, Distance and e-Learning, to facilitate the hosting and creation of learning content on the learning platform.

    Key Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks

    • Work closely with ICT department to facilitate the hosting, creation, and back-up of learning contents on the learning platform
    • Upload trimester units for open, distance and e-learning on the university learning management system (LMS)
    • Administer students’ enrolments on the online platform. Create, edit, add and drop classes on E-Naz
    • Provide advisory and technical support in the creation of open, distance and e-learning programs/courses. Guide online users on related challenges
    • Follow up with the lecturers on examination administration and assist them to key in grades on the University Management System
    • Reset learners passwords when necessary
    • Maintain and update student records using the University Management System
    • Initiate and recommending updates of E-Learning Technology (MOODLE) and infrastructure to enhance better E-learning course delivery services
    • Integrate MOODLE and CAMS Learning Management Systems for the University

    Digital Marketing Officer

    Job Purpose: Responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing strategies, campaigns and content that promote the University, its products and services, in the digital space/ online.

    Key Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks

    • Create digital marketing strategies, campaigns and content
    • Develop a website traffic plan and create goals and benchmarks to meet. Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
    • Use data from web tracking tools like Google Analytics to check the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
    • Use techniques like Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to track, drive website traffic and acquire leads/customers
    • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the University is at the forefront of industry developments
    • Collaborate with graphic designer to create digital designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles, aesthetical design concepts and using the band guide
    • Provide support in analysis of customer needs through digital interaction surveys and analysis
    • Monitor competitor’s behaviour in the areas of digital marketing including channel strategies, channel type, content and programs and future plans. Provide recommendations on the same

    Graphic Designer

    Job Purpose: Responsible for designing and creating graphics and related content to meet university and promotional needs, leveraging on computer applications, artistic or decorative effects while complying with the university brand guideline.

    Key Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks

    • Design marketing materials including proposals, pitches, videos, letter, posters, brochures and contracts
    • Design graphic, visual and digital content for posters, flyers, billboards, banners, T-shirts and other promotional items
    • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles, aesthetical design concepts and using the band guide
    • Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products
    • Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with relevant parties and making necessary changes
    • Liaise with creative, media, and printing agencies for graphic material procurement. Confer with printing companies to discuss and determine print quality and standards
    • Coordinate the printing of academic certificates and other materials
    • Provide key input in the design of the University’s brand manual
    • Provide design support for newsletters, digital marketing materials, program booklets, e-mail signature, web-banners and other publication of the University

    Job Purpose: Responsible for creating social media content and managing all social media channels so as to sustain an engaging audience / customer experience and satisfaction.

    • Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts
    • Ensure a consistent brand message across all the social media channels
    • Research and analyse social media trends, including web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaigns efficacy
    • Manage all social media accounts, and any outsourced copywriters and content creators
    • Collect all enquiries and record on the general enquiries tracker. Ensure all enquiries are responded to within the hour

    Marketing Officer

    Job Purpose: Responsible for driving business growth, sustainability and profitability by researching market conditions, producing marketing materials, creating a marketing campaign and managing sales pitches for prospective students.

    • Support development and implementation of marketing and business development strategy

    • Identify and prioritize potential partners based on strategic fit, speed of implementation, and growth opportunity
    • Assess viability of partnerships including overseeing all necessary economic assessment, financial valuation, and other supporting analyses for specific opportunities
    • Manage contract development and negotiations to secure mutually beneficial arrangements that provide an opportunity for long-term growth
    • Ensure measurement and tracking systems are in place to gauge new opportunity effectiveness by preparing dashboards and other communication tools; and lead cross-functional forums to provide regular updates and performance reviews.
