    Regional Parts Sales Representative (RSR)

    Purpose:

    To drive business growth through aggressive customer acquisition & customer retention.

    Achieve sales targets, grow market share and grow both new and existing business contacts.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Sales Support.

    • Calls, visits, make presentations to existing and prospective customers.
    • Maintain existing accounts, obtains orders, and establish new dealerships.
    • Prepare work schedules to visit existing or potential sales outlets daily/weekly/monthly.
    • Exhibit products and services to existing/potential customers and provide best solutions vs needs.
    • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, finance, technical and logistics teams.
    • Plan and implement sales strategies with the help of the supervisor.
    • Responsible for achievement of overall (individual and branch) sales targets (monthly/annual).
    • Product and technical knowledge.

    Customer Focus.

    • Regular communication with customers to increase customer satisfaction.
    • Resolve customer complaints through root cause analysis and give suitable solutions.
    • Preparing reports on customer feedback and market intelligence with recommendations.
    • Carry out customer education on the importance of using genuine spares.
    • Manage dealer visibility through execution of their marketing calendar within company policies.

    Debt Management.

    • Debt and account management.
    • Credit management is maintained within company policies.

    Business Development.

    • Prepare and submit sales activity reports: daily call reports, weekly/monthly work plans and annual territory analysis updates.
    • Undertake market analysis through competitor analysis (pricing, products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques), customer needs analysis, opportunity analysis, customer feedback and trends and recommend sales strategies/winning formulas.
    • Continuous appraisal and development of the dealer network in the region to increase and sustain sales and profits.

    Assistant Manager (Parts Sales)

    Purpose:

    Manage the day-to-day parts sales operations including the motivation of the sales team in implementing sales strategies and achieving targets. Together with HOD define long-term parts sales strategies, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate, close business deals, and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Sales Operations Management.

    • Responsible for meeting sales budget through retail and workshop counterparts sales.
    • Responsible for key customers (Dealers, Fleet customer and Insurance) and parts business development with the support of Head of Parts Sales & Operations, Aftersales Managers & ARD managers.
    • Lead & coordinate Regional Parts Sales Representative to effectively engage key customers & grow market share through regular visits & communication.
    • Supervise sales team by supporting & motivating them to achieve individual and departmental targets.
    • Monitor sales performance against set targets & communicate on regular basis for appropriate response and/or decision making.
    • Handle key account prospects and proactively manage the debts of the department.
    • Responsible for parts customer complaints.

     Business development.

    • Support the Head of Parts Sales & Operations to develop & administer aggressive wholesale parts programs that drive revenue growth.
    • Maintain regular contact with major customers to build loyalty and ensure long-term revenue.
    • Work closely with other job functions in the company to improve overall services level.
    • Detail sales action plans to achieve set targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
    • Coordinate the parts sales budget preparation in collaboration with stakeholders and set parts marketing calendar.
    • Establish and enforce a pricing policy that balances volume, customer loyalty, and cost of doing business.

    Reporting.

    • Prepare sales progress reports on a weekly/monthly/annual basis recommending action plans for the shortfalls.
    • Manage Customer Relationship Management database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available.

     Market Intelligence.

    • Market reports on business opportunities, challenges & competitors’ activities on regular basis.
    • Research prices and products of competitors and collect actionable market intelligence.
    • Attend trade shows to exhibit products or conferences to keep abreast of the latest products and trends.

    Product Knowledge and training.

    • Conduct sales training to the sales team and where possible invite various experts to coach the team.

    Head of Marketing

    Purpose:

    Reporting to the Group CEO, the Head of Marketing is a key position within the Senior Management Team of Simba Corporation.

    The position plays a key role in the formulation, development, and actualization of the Corporate Marketing strategy (covering all business units), identifying business opportunities as well as opportunities for growth in existing markets and expansion into new markets. In addition, the position supports the Business in customer experience, innovation, and business transformation.

    Key Responsibilities

    You will be expected to work closely with the Executive Team to deliver the Organization’s targeted outcomes and deliverables.

    In particular, you will plan, develop and set the strategic marketing direction for the Organization to ensure achievement of the Organizational objectives for revenue and margin generation and business development. More specifically, you will be expected to:

    • Work closely with the various businesses in the formulation, development and implementation of the corporate marketing strategy designed for business growth across all businesses.
    • Prepare implement and manage monthly, quarterly and annual marketing plans and budgets for the successful implementation of marketing campaigns across the Organization.
    • Develop and implement marketing goals, branding and corporate identity initiatives to ensure the profitability, share of market and expansion of the Organization’s products and services.
    • Identify opportunities for expansion and growth and develop new business relationships and strategic partnerships.
    • Design branding, positioning and pricing strategies and provide strategic support to the marketing teams including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative.
    • Conduct customer, brand, and product research initiatives and competitor analysis to drive the development and implementation of marketing and brand strategies.
    • Manage providers, consultants, freelancers, and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management.
    • Establish, build, and develop a professional marketing team and provide the planning, leadership, coaching and mentoring to ensure direct reports achieve their key deliverables and exceed the Organization’s strategic
    • Oversee the operation of the Organization’s website email marketing program and provide analytics review.
    • Oversee the management of the contact center and ensuring all issues pertaining to customers and customer complaints are handled in the appropriate manner

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; Master’s degree is an added advantage
    • Work experience at senior management level with demonstrable experience running successful marketing campaigns.
    • Demonstrated capability in managing significant organizational change
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in collecting and analyzing data
    • Project and product management experience
    • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
