    Field Team Leader

    Reporting to the SENIOR MANAGER – Network Operations the position holder will be responsible for end to end Fault Management in technology which includes Alarm Monitoring – NoC, First Level troubleshooting and resolution – EM, Trouble Ticket Management and Preventive, People management. The holder of the role will also manage the vendor at operations level. Execution of all SLAs and Preventive maintenance on Network Elements across the network.

    Responsibilities for the Team Leader Job

    • People Management
    • Manage the performance of staff in the section, define performance indicators, assign tasks, and define goals and objectives for the staff develop the skill base of the staff assigned, motivate, discipline, and recommend reward of staff.
    • Manage fuelling:
    • Ensure that fuel within cluster is documented as per the quantities using WFM, check on high fuel consumption gensets, zero fuel theft,
    • PM Management:
    • Coordinate preventive maintenance as per schedule and meet the SLAs
    • EM Management:, Manage the sectional team to respond to faults and any other escalations 24/7
    • He/She should have good understanding of what PM & EM entails in detail including the elements

    Requirements for the Team Leader Job

    • Degree or diploma in Electrical and Electronics engineering or Telecoms engineer
    • 3 years of work experience in telecoms preferably in a GSM environment, field operations or network
    • management, 1 year of which should be in a a 24 hour working environment;
    • Highly analytical with strong reporting and presentation skills.
    • Excellent in verbal and written skills
    • Mature disposition with HIGH integrity
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deliver results within critical timelines

    Field Operation Engineer

    Reporting to the Team Lead – Network Maintenance the position holder will be responsible for end to end Fault Management in which includes, First Level troubleshooting and resolution, Trouble Ticket Management and faults escalation to 2nd level.     • Termination of site alarms at the krone box as well as maintenance
    • Testing of site alarms as well as maintenance
    • Site grounding/earthing as well as maintenance
    • Microwave link installation and commissioning as well as maintenance
    • GSM/UMTS/4G site integration- 2G, 3G & 4G
    • Transmission routing both full IP and E1 as well as maintenance
    • Test calls for site performance
    • Site acceptance

    Requirements for the Operation Engineer Job

    • Diploma or Degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering or Telecoms engineering;
      more than 1 years of work experience in telecoms preferably in a GSM environment, field operations or network management, 1 year of which should be in a 24 hour working environment;

    Network Operation Center Manager

    Reporting to the Senior Manager – Network Operations the position holder will be responsible for end to end Fault Management in technology which includes Alarm Monitoring, First Level troubleshooting and resolution, Trouble Ticket Management and faults escalation to 2nd level. The holder of the role will also manage execution of all changes on the network and Preventive maintenance on Network Elements across the network.

    Responsibilities for the Network Operation Center Manager Job

    • To develop and analyze relevant daily/weekly/monthly management reports on various key aspects of the NOC section;
    • To issue regular updates on service/network outages to the Senior Manager
    • To actively follow up on Major/Critical Incidents and coordinate war room setup and administration in collaboration with the Incident emergency maintenance team and other stakeholders;
    • To coordinate alarms monitoring and First line fault resolution across the RAN,CORE, NPS, TRANSPORT and DATA (fixed/mobile) domains;
    • To do Network Trouble Ticket (NTT) Management including creation of Trouble Tickets for network faults detected; tracking and update of TT status during its lifecycle (e.g. opened, assigned, dispatched, resolved, closed, etc.); tracking of all key information on TT (e.g. date/time of TT creation, organizational group that created TT, description of first diagnosis, etc.);
    • To work closely with the Change and Logical Access team to ensure logical access for all key RAN, CORE, TRANSPORT and DATA tools is done efficiently and effectively;
    • To establish systems to attract, develop, engage, and retain talented individuals and create an environment where they can realize their full potential and contribute to the attainment of organizational goals;
    • To engage the team through constant feedback & communication and performance discussions;
    • Prepare weekly management reports
    • Manage all the shifts including shift leads
    • Manage leave times
    • To develop the team through learning initiatives, mentoring & coaching.

    Requirements for the Network Operation Center Manager Job

    • Degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering or Telecoms engineering;
    • 3 years of work experience in telecoms preferably in a GSM environment, field operations or network management, 3 years of which should be in a management capacity-managing a team of engineers /technicians in a 24 hour working environment;
    • Highly analytical with strong reporting and presentation skills.

    Senior Manager

    Reporting to the Chief Operation Officer the position holder will be responsible for end to end Fault Management in technology which includes Alarm Monitoring – NoC, First Level troubleshooting and resolution – EM, Trouble Ticket Management and Preventive, People management. The holder of the role will also manage the vendor at operations level. Execution of all SLAs and Preventive maintenance on Network Elements across the network.

    Responsibilities for the Senior Manager Job

    • Leave planning: Ensure that leave days for the team are distributed throughout the year Capex /Opex Management: Prepare accurate and timely equipment forecast for capacity Upgrades. Evaluate cost- benefit analysis for all capital spending on tools and equipment
    • PM Management: Coordinate preventive maintenance as per schedule and meet the SLAs
    • EM Management: Manage the regional team to respond to faults and any other escalations
    • Vendor/Opco relationships: Actively Participate in meetings, conferences, workshops, user groups, with relevance to Maintenance
    • Prepare training/ presentation on all key features learned in such workshops.
    • Manage trial test for new features borrowed from such conferences
    • Project management: Coordinate documentation planning and Maintenance procedures.
    • Manage standardization of Vendor rules and standards.
    • Prepare project plans for all major projects including vendor events
